Kohaku walked into the fresh, gay field. Harmonious colors fill it. Daisies and roses bloomed, accepting his company. Kohaku summoned a miniature cloud as he shape-shifts into a dragon with iridescent scales and outstanding opalescent wings. Cool mist drizzled on Kohaku. It not only felt soothing, it felt like it was freeing his soul.
As the rain and clouds abscond, a riot of colors burst into the air. Birds warbled and sang, dragons roared in a grand tone, flamboyant phoenixes soar high in the empyrean.
A flock of Caladrius birds took flight into the air, their pure and soft white feathers ruffling. Kohaku beamed as a Caladrius bird lands on his arm. The snow-white Caladrius bird dips its head and once again pilots off.
He felt listless. He felt serenity and tranquility while he clambered up to his bunk as a gentle moon lulls him to sleep.
Kohaku wakes up as he feels something nudging his head.
''Stop...Sis.....''
He looks up with tired eyes as he sees the Peryton fawn he save the day before.
''Um, hi! What are you doing here?''
''Squawk!''
Kohaku looks at it and mumbled to himself:
'' I don't know how to speak Peryton...Nevermind, I'll try.....''
Kohaku tried to screech.
''REEEEEEHH!"
''STOP SHOUTING, HAKU!''
''Sorry!....... Squawk squawk?''
The Peryton tilts its head, confused. Kohaku smiled, embarrassed. The Peryton fawn hops on his lap.
''Huh? You want....?''
It nuzzles him as Kohaku tries to understand its language.
"I give up."
He reaches for his Mythical Creatures Translator 2.0® and sets it in front of him.
"Aaaand...I think, oh here it is. Peryton. Select and start!"
Peryton: Squawk, Squawk! Eeeeh!
Translator: I want to stay with you!
Peryton: Squawk! Eeeh! Eeeeh!
Kohaku reads out the words on the translator:
"I ...want you...to stay with me..?'
Kohaku stared at the Peryton, shocked. He talks into the translator:
"Well... If my sister doesn't mind, that is, then sure!"
"Squawk, Eeeh!"
The peryton looks at him in joy.
"Well, now time to show you to my sister and tell her now you are a part of our family..?"
" Oh! I've been wanting to have a Peryton for years, yes, definitely yes!" Hanabi cheers.
"Let's give it a name. How about..."
"Hoshi?"
"Hmm, okay!"
Over the years, Kohaku and Hanabi managed to learn how to speak Peryton. (narrator)

One balmy day when Kohaku and Hoshi were taking a fine stroll in the field like how they always do, suddenly they heard a voice.
"Hello, Kohaku and Hoshi."
"H-how did you know our names?!"
"I'm a stalker, silly."
