Just when he was about to give up his hope, he saw a Deadly Nightshade plant growing into his windowsill. 

"Whoa.. why is this here? That is highly poisonous."

 "Poisonous until the fact even Stymphalian birds don't stand a chance with it!"

"I could buy some arrows by trading some of these plants, and keep some for use later."

Kohaku then shapeshifts, and with Hoshi, he managed to find a nearby trader." Can I have a quiver of arrows? I'll trade you with this patch of Deadly Nightshade berries."

"Oh, sure. These poisonous berries are super rare now and thanks for trading with me! Here is the quiver of arrows you wanted."

Kohaku wears the back quiver with arrows as he shapeshifts into another peryton. He then used his wings to take flight and with Hoshi, they start to circle the place from high above the clouds. Kohaku uses gloves to take a berry from his bag as he pokes the poison berry into the arrow.

Kohaku then orders Hoshi to gather some sugar. Kohaku shapeshifts into a half-dragon half-person, takes aim and he shoots it at one of the birds. The bird screeches in agony as it slumped to the ground, dead. The other Stymphalian birds didn't notice because they were busy eating a dead bull. Hoshi comes back with a pack of sugar.  "Thanks, Hoshi." The faeries started to notice as they fly to the top of the clouds where Kohaku and Hoshi were. "Hah! Found you! It giggles as it takes out a dagger. Who trespasses this place MUST perish." Kohaku and Hoshi fly down as fast as they could go, and Hoshi pours the bag of sugar on the floor. Sugar! COME ON, FRIENDS, LETS COUNT HOW MANY GRAINS ARE THERE!"

"One, two.. three..." " five.. six... eight..." The faeries gather in a heap to count the sugar as  Kohaku and Hoshi sneak away with the cursed Emerald.

"How do we uncurse this emerald then?" Kohaku asks Hoshi as soon as he reaches the hotel.

"I'm not sure though..." It replies in peryton.

Kohaku scavenged the hotel from in search of any tips that could uncurse the Emerald. 

"Ah. Nice. maybe I can borrow this library book for use."

"How to uncurse..... part one... So we need some Hydrangea and some stinging nettles... honey and aloe vera..water... salt... That's about it. "

"I saw some aloe vera on the streets, Hoshi, you help me get some of that, and salt, you can go get that too. I'll get the Hydrangea flowers, stinging nettles, and the honey."

"OK let's go!"

" Well looks like in the meantime of uncursing this, I can also finish the next quest to collect stinging nettles!"

Kohaku smiles as he gathers aloe vera plants, hydrangea flowers, and a jar of honey.

Okay. He says. Well there is only one chance to do this right. if I mess up the thing is going to keep on cursing us. Hoshi grimaces as Kohaku throws in the ingredients in a bathtub filled with water. 3, 2,1..!

.~*Right now we are facing the worst, please make this jewel uncursed!*~.

A bright light gleamed on the jewel as it hovered across the air. It smashed itself onto the ground. Still in one piece, the jewel as if controlled by an unseen hand, hit Kohaku on the face. "Ow!" The jewel laughed in a low, hoarse voice as it smashed into stuff, ruining bedsheets and splashing water all over. Kohaku tried to stop it as the cursed jewel lounged at him, but the jewel managed to hit him, making his right eye bleed. Hoshi whimpers as the jewel turns to it. The jewel snickers as it hits Hoshi's leg. The peryton shrieks in pain as the cursed object's sharp edges caused a big, deep cut on his thigh.

What will they do? Both wounded badly and petrified, will they be able to continue the journey?
