Gunshots

Daniel floored it, the car left the area just as he heard two gunshots. Jihyo was shaking in the passenger seat. "Jihyo, they're  probably going to come after us, can you unbuckle your seatbelt and hide down where we rest our feet?" Asked Daniel as he sped down the road. Jihyo nodded and curled up in fetus position down below. Daniel looked into the rear view mirror and saw Jyp on a motorcycle chasing after them. In front of him were two men that were coming the opposite way, also on motorcycles. Without thinking, Daniel drove straight towards them.

There was a loud crash and Daniel managed to hit both motorcycles right after they each fired a gun shot. One shot missed Danile and went through the Center of the car, the others hit in in the left shoulder. Daniel's car was fine and just a little scratched, but the two men were most likely dead or seriously injured from that crash. Jihyo saw the blood coming down from Daniel's shoulder and gasped. "Daniel, y-you got shot" whimpered Jihyo, she felt so bad for him. "I'm fine, we're gonna be fine" reassures Daniel through the pain. He looked back at the rearview mirror and Jyp was no longer there, he was confused until he suddenly heard another gunshot, it hit the seat Jihyo would have been in if she didn't hide down. Daniel looked forward and there was Jyp, right in front of them and holding his gun up, Aiming straight at Daniel this time.  He risked it all and floored it. *BANG* Jyp fired his last shot before Daniel ran him over. The car slowly halted to a stop. Jihyo thought it was over and peeked up to see if Daniel was ok.

She first saw Jyp lying dead on the side of the road, then turned to Daniel. And to her horror, he was covered in blood. Police sirens could be heard slowly coming towards them. Jihyo sat up and reached over to Daniel, holding him tightly. Jyp had shot him right where his heart was, he looked at Jihyo with his last bit of energy "I love you" was the last thing Daniel said before he went limp in Jihyo's arms. He was gone. Jihyo instantly broke down and sobbed. "WHY HIM, WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE, I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE KILLED ANYWAYS, WHY DIDN'T GOD JUST TAKE ME INSTEAD" screamed Jihyo as she held Daniel even closer. "HE WAS INNOCENT, IT WAS ALL MY FAULT, WHY, WHYYY" Jihyo continued to scream until the police got to her car.

Two police men pulled Jihyo away from Daniel as she continued to sob so he could be carried into the ambulance. Jihyo was escorted Into a police car where one of the policemen was trying to calm her and make her feel better. Daniel was taken to the hospital to be treated and Jihyo was taken to the police station to be questioned. Jihyo told them everything, from Daniel wanting the money to help his dad, changing his mind and protecting her, and escaping from Jyp and killing him to save ourselves. Jihyo was let off without any charges and consequences because she was considered the victim of this case. The policemen offered to take her to the hospital to see Daniel who they also considered a victim and was let off.

They arrived at the hospital and Jihyo immediately ran to where Daniel was being treated. They let her in and Daniel was awake and still alive. Jihyo was so happy, until she heard the news. "We managed to bring him back to life, but he won't stay alive for much longer, at most he has an hour" said the Doctor to Jihyo who was now on the verge of tears again. Daniel took her hand and held it to his cheek, "please take care of my family when I'm gone, I'm sure they would be happy to see you as family too. And I'm very sorry for all of this happening, I love you so much and never wanted any of this to happen. Promise me you're going to live your life to the fullest even when I'm gone ok? I'll always be with you in your heart" said Daniel trying to make Jihyo feel better as she sobbed beside him.

Jihyo stayed with Daniel at the hospital until his last breath.
