I jumped in the lake and dived under I saw a rock and held on to it counting from 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1 then I swam up as I emerged from the lake I took a deep breath it was cold so I could see my breath from the cold I looked around I saw no one so I swam to the shore and got out of the lake catching my breath

I sat at the edge of the lake looking at my hands that have splinters in it and was glad I came to the lake where I could wash this blood off them, it hurt and seem like the smaller ones need tweezers to take out I washed my hands in the lake again and slowly stood up I looked around making sure that im not being watched then I took the long road home, in case I was being watched and didn't know it cause

I was so tired and losing a lot of blood so im not sure, I had to rip my shirt to tie my hands to stop the bleeding and the cold weather doesn't seem to help me I kept shivering from being wet and walking in the cold and losing blood I knew it was a bad idea but I had to make sure, after walking for about 5 minutes I noticed that I wasn't followed so I took the short cut all the while trying to stay conscious long enough to make it home

by now I was feeling light headed and started making S's and holding on to tree's cause im losing my balance then I saw the entrance I pushed myself to the doors and slowly moved the covers and opened the door once I knew that I was home I finally let myself go and I felt myself fall in and the last thing I remember was people screaming then I was out.

I heard murmurs but my eyes were to heavy to open, I tried to move but my body felt like led I heard the voices again and it was getting closer

"so she hasn't been bitten?" I heard it was Anna's voice

"no she hasn't she has cuts and bruises everywhere but she wasn't bitten" I heard a male voice say and I recognize it as sensei

"im so sorry crystal" said Anna I wanted to comfort her and tell her that it was ok but I just couldn't move or wake up then I heard the door open with a squeak

"can I come in?" I heard a male voice say

"yeah" said Anna

"how is she?" I heard it again and I recognize it as jasper and I heard feet shuffling and knew it was Nina that girl needs to learn to walk silently

"she's hanging in there" said sensei

"will she make it?" I heard another male voice and it was Jake

"yes she will" said sensei I felt so happy that my whole team was here, I felt blessed but of course I wont tell them that

"thank you crystal" I heard Nina say

"get well soon" then I heard them walk out I felt my hand being held by someone

"im proud of you crystal" said sensei

"very proud" he said his voice breaking then he kissed my hand and laid it on the bed then I heard the door shut and I felt like crying I have never heard sensei say anything like that to me and it made me feel so loved and happy, only for now I am allowed to feel this emotions and when I wake up it will be over.

I woke up again and this time I could open my eyes and move my body, I squinted my eyes from the bright light I moved my sore hand to rub my eyes then I opened my eyes to see an empty room I slowly moved my body into a sitting position my whole body was sore but that's what happen when you lay there for long then I wondered how long I have been sleeping

I looked around the medical room and saw my clothes hanging on the chair I slowly moved my legs to the side of the bed then I stretched them they were so sore but I ignored the soreness and stood up holding on to the bed my legs were wobbly but I had to try to walk

I sat down and took a deep breath and tried again my legs wobble a bit but it was ok I started to walk towards my clothes then I started to change into them, after I put on my weapons belt the door opened and in came sensei he looked at me shocked but then he smile

"well welcome back" he said and I smile

"its good to be back" I walked over to him and bowed he looked at me for a second then he took me in his arms and hugged me I was shocked at first but hugged him back

"don't ever do that to me again" he said and I smiled

"I cant promise that" I said and he laughed and pulled out of the hug

"well then just don't do it often" I laughed and nod

"well lets go see your team they been laying around worry about you" he said opening the door

"how long have I been out?" he turned to look at me

"a month" I looked at him with wide eyes

"what?!" and he smiled

"4 days" I let out a breath then I saw his shoulders shake and knew he was laughing silently

"mean old man" I said shaking my head.
