I WOKE UP FROM A DREAM
A DREAM SO SACCHARINE ABOUT A
WOMAN SO DIVINE, HER SMILE BEAMED
DIAMOND EYES WITH ETERNAL GLEAM
I WISH SHE AND HER CREAM-WHITE DRESS
COULD COME ALIVE SEAM BY SEAM
TO BECOME MY LIFE, MY NEW THEME[ 23:02 ]
IN THE DREAM, I WAS LOST
I WAS LOST IN A DARK, TWISTY FOREST
A GROTESQUELY DEAD SEA FIG JUNGLE
THE VEINY ROOTS PRICKED MY ANKLES
BRANCHES WERE SCRATCHING AND
SHREDDING MY FRAME MERCILESSLYTHE BURNING COLD SPROUTED GOOSEBUMPS
BLISTERS SORE ON MY PORCELAIN HANDS
AN ANXIOUS RUSH CONVULSED DOWN MY SPINE
I TRIED TO FIND WARMTH, ANY KIND OF WARMTH
I WAS PURSUING MY HOPE THAT SOMEONE WOULD WELCOME ME: TO LOVE ME THE WAY I WAS MEANT TO BE LOVED[ 23:48 ]
WHEN I RAN THE MILES TO SEE NO END
FULL OF LOOPS AND HORRENDOUS BENDS
SOON, I BECAME THE VOID'S NEW FRIEND
I INTENDED TO LEAVE MYSELF FOR DEAD[ 00:41 ]
FEATHERY FINGERTIPS CARESSED MY BLOTCHY CHEEKS, MIXED WITH BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS
HER AURA WAS UNMATCHABLE TO ALL LIVING
THE HEROIC VISAGE OF EXQUISITENESS ITSELF
HER HANDS CLASPED MINE AS SHE RAISED
ME FROM THE CHAOS TO EMBRACE ME
MY HEAD RESTED ON HER SOFT BREAST, MAKING HER LUSH, ORANGE HAIR TICKLE MY ROSY NOSE
SHE SAID SHE DESIRED ME AND IN THAT MOMENT
I COULD'VE DIED HAPPYWHEN SHE FED ME THOSE RED BERRY PARFAITS
WITH KISSES OF LUST TO ENGULF ME WHOLE
I COULDN'T FAULT HER FOR BEGUILING ME SO
BECAUSE IN THAT MOMENT LOVE WAS EASY;
HER LOVE WAS BLAMELESS, TENDERFOR SHE WAS THE ONE WHO COULD ADORE ME SO
I HAD FOUND MY LIGHT
