The trip went smoothly, it was almost scary how they never once faced a problem.
After reaching Denmark, they paid a small country farmer to take them to the countryside where they settled in a small village.
With the money left they started a small inn in a village near the station, the town was small but travelers settled there often and lack of accommodations gave them an opportunity. They bought and slowly renovated a small inn near the station.

He was starting to lose his composure, he was never a calm man, he'd rather torture his victims slowly but now, now all hell went loose. Torture, beatings, starvation, mental torture, nothing was off teh table.
Every time he was to deal with someone he would imagine that maid in their place.
It got to the point her majesty queen Victoria had to intervene, she prevented Arthur from searching for _____ any longer.
She had tolerated Arthurs 'questionable' preferences for a while now, but as someone who valued love, she could not bear to see such a sight. She stopped the man right there and then.
After this Arthur buried himself in work, people didn't even remember what he looked like from how long he had disappeared from society.
Whatever happened in the Kirkland manor from that day forward, stayed in the Kirkland manor.
Though unfortunately he passed through history only as a detective who ended up falling for an unrequited love, far from the truth really.
