Chapter 1 : The Rumors

Luna Nova University is one of the top ranked universities and also known as the one and only University that still teaches magic. Not many people are interested in magic these days so almost less than a 10 students take the magic courses. Most of the students focused on other courses that has nothing to do with magic. Atsuko Kagari is one of the students who believed in magic ever since she was a little child until now. She never gave up to be the strongest magician. Infact she is the strongest magician among the students who take magic courses.

Diana POV

Hannah and Barbara kept gossipping about the rumors of a weird student. I didn't really bother because I was too engrossed into my literature class. The professor kept revising each paragraphs when someone burst through the entrance. I didn't pay attention to who it was. "I'm sorry for being late professor, I promise it won't happen again,". I could tell by her voice she was panting or just exhausted from running. I started hearing murmurs of students around me. I was not sure why until...
"Hey Barb, isn't that the girl who takes the magic courses?".
"Yeah, isn't it weird..no one uses magic these days,".
"Look at her!" Barbara and Hannah started laughing at the student.
The professor glanced at the student. "Miss Kagari, this is your last and final warning. If you are late to class again, I will have to think about removing you from this class!".
All the students started laughing. The student came and sat a seat in front of me. She sat in between two girls, Lotte and Sucy. From behind all I could see is her brown hair tied up into a ponytail.

I have never noticed her being in this class before. Maybe I was just too focused on the lecture. I couldn't see her face but I could tell that she was feeling embarrassed and humiliated.

Akko POV

I should've put an alarm yesterday. I sighed and buried my face in my arms out of embarrassment.
"It's okay Akko, maybe try to be early next time," said Lotte while patting my back to comfort me.
"Like that will ever happen," said Sucy.
She was right, ever since I started magic I would stay up late at night and practice. Im too exhausted.
"Don't worry Akko, one day you'll be the greatest magician there is! Just don't give up," Lotte patted my back as she tried to cheer me up. I brought my face up as I look at Lotte and smiled.
"Don't worry, I ain't giving up yet!" I smiled happily with confidence.
At that moment I could feel someone staring at me. It got stronger and stronger so I turned back to look at who it was. And that's when our eyes met. My cheeks felt so warm. Her eyes were blue. Cold as ice, clear as crystal but at the same time they were such caring and alluring eyes. Her hair was blonde and it had light touch of green. She almost looked like a cabbage. A beautiful cabbage~.... She was gorgeous....
She realised that we were staring at each other for so long. She looks down and I turn back facing to the front.

"Someone's in love~~," said Sucy while nudging my shoulder.
"Shut up Sucy!" I nudged her back.
"She was just staring at me," I said and Sucy smirks "Mmmhmmm~,".
"I'm serious!"
Lotte poked my shoulder.
"When you said she, did you meant the blonde girl at the back of you," she whispered.
"Yeah...," I said not knowing why she was whispering.
"Looks like the Queen of Luna Nova likes you~" said Sucy while smirking again.
"The Queen?" I asked.

"She's known as the Queen of Luna Nova because she's the smartest one around here. She comes from a rich family and they have connections with the head of Luna Nova University. She's the Queen because no one dares to mess with her. She's stern, cold and scary but she doesn't talk much to other people. Those two sitting beside her are her friends Barbara and Hannah. They also come from rich families but they like to talk about others, mostly badmouthing them," Lotte explained with fear.

"Basically their bitches, and the blonde is like the Queen of bitches," said Sucy.
"What's her name?" I asked out of curiosity.
Suddenly, Lotte and Sucy turned back staring at someone. I could feel someone standing at the back of me. Staring right into me.

"My name is Diana Cavendish!"

This is my first story so I hope you guys like it.
I love diakko and I wanted to focus on a love story just for them. Im gonna change somethings of LWA like the spells and so on. Don't worry I'll make sure our main couple stays there. Plus I named this story Euphoria because I couldn't come up with a title and I was writing this story while listening to Euphoria by BTS and that gave me the idea.
I'll try to update as soon as possible.
