Chapter 6: When will the fighting end

Akko POV

I shouldn't have said that. Just when everything was going so well. I'm going to kill that Andrew. I've been calling and texting Diana, but she never sent a reply to even call me back. I looked for her around campus and I swear I can't find her.

*Fast forward to the night of the day*

Diana POV

There's nothing.

Just when I thought I made up with her, things got even worse. Fuck that Andrew. He must've said something to them or to her.
I shouldn't have run away. What a coward Diana.

I was sitting in my room, as I got bored and stood up to stand at the balcony. I walked out feeling the cold wind till I saw flashes of light coming from the garden. I couldn't see it well, but it was colourful like fireworks. It almost looks like magic.

Wait!
I remember Sucy mentioned about Akko practicing magic alone in the garden.
If that's her....

I wanted to see. I promised myself I'll get to know her and this will definitely help me.
I put on my hoodie as it was freezing cold at night. I quietly jogged my way past security and head to the campus garden. As I came closer, I hid behind some of the bushes. It was enough to keep me hidden.

I got up and peeked to look for Akko.
And I was right, it was her.
She was holding a broom. She got on and raised her hand and casted some magic spells that I couldn't hear but....

She was flying on the broom. Her face looked so focused and serious. She then raised her hands and lit up fire on both of her hands. She casted another spell and the broom transformed into wings. Wings of flames. It attached to her back and lifted her, as if she was an angel of fire.

She was smiling. She looked so
DAMN FUCKING HOT.
She started waving her hand around making the fire go in patterns. It seemed like a light show but I was definitely attracted to it.
All of it.
I didn't want to ruin anything so I just stayed hidden.
Eventually she stopped and her wings transformed back into her broom. Now she was just sitting on her broom while it levitated. She sat there for a few seconds.

She reached her hand into her pocket and took out her phone. All of a sudden my phone vibrates, I took it out and she was calling me. Somehow Akko heard the phone and started looking where I was hiding. I quickly crawled my wait out of the bush and hid behind a pillar.
Akko ended the call. A few seconds later, I heard another vibration from my phone and it was a text from Akko. I opened the text and...

A: I'm sorry Diana

My heart broke reading her text. I felt like I wanted to hug her and tell her I love her.
But instead I just ran away.
