Chapter 2: Library

Diana POV

Two days had flown by and I never once seen her or heard anything about her. It was like Akko just disappeared. If I was alone I would secretly try to find her but I can't let Barbara and Hannah know that I'm interested in Akko.

"I miss my little bunny~"

Today I decided to do some extra studying. The campus had two libraries and I decided to go for the old library than the new one. The old library has the books that i needed plus since nobody uses it anymore it would be a quiet place to study. I entered the library and it was clearly empty. I wrote my name in the log book before entering and I saw another name written. It was in a language I didn't know. It looked like Chinese or Japanese. I walked through the aisles searching for the books I needed. I moved past 5 aisles and when I came to the next one I saw someone sitting down leaning on the book shelf and studying. I looked closely and saw Akko.

Fuck! Okay don't panic. Just casually go there and talk to her. But I might be disturbing her. Besides after what happened yesterday, I don't think she'll talk to me.

Akko buried her right cheek into her palm to support her head weight.

HOW CAN SOMEONE BE SO FUCKING CUTE!!!

(Gay panic)

I just stood there, staring at her. I got lost and my mind,body and heart just focused on her.
She looked up and I snapped out of it. I tried to escape and hide but the moment I turned my knee bumped into one of the shelves. The shelf shook a bit and then it stopped. I looked up and saw the books falling from the top of the shelf. Out of reflex, I closed my eyes and used my hands to cover myself and brace for the impact.

But I didn't felt a thing or even heard the books falling to the ground. I looked up and saw Akko. We were extremely close to each other. She was using her hands to cover me and the books were...
The books were floating in mid air.
Akko moved her hands from over my head and she used her hands to put the books back into the shelf.
I was amazed. My eyes were wide as I just stared at her. Both of us were staring at each other and I could feel my cheeks warm up. Akko looked at me with a confused look.

"What?" Akko asked.
"How. Did. You. Do. That?" clearly I was amazed.
"Oh that, I used a levitation spell," guess I clearly forgot she does magic.
"Owh, that was....cool," I could feel my face heat up as I said that word because I don't usually give compliments.
"Thanks but are you okay though?"
"Yeah I'm fine..... thanks to you," damn she's worried about me...
"What are you doing here?" asked Akko with a poker face.
"Am I not allowed to be here?" I asked with my arms crossed.
"No, I mean it just felt strange to see you here," she said while adding a laugh at the end .
I walked towards her as she backed up leaning her back on to the shelf. I pinned her to the shelf, leaving her no room to escape.

"Isn't it obvious that I'm here to see you~,"
