Chapter 3: Get to know her

A few hours later...

It's been 2 hours since Diana saw Akko and she gave her number. Diana sees Lotte and Sucy but Akko wasn't there.

Diana POV

I think she doesn't take this class.
Why hasn't she texted me yet?
Fuck this is making me impatient.
And my dumbass forgot to ask her number.
Jeez Diana how dumb can you be.....

The class ended and I decided to ask Lotte and Sucy for Akko's number. I told Barbara and Hannah to go on ahead so that they won't notice me asking for her number.
"Hey Lotte, Sucy,"
They faced mebut Lotte was nervous and a bit scared and Sucy was .....well Sucy was like Sucy.
"Hey Diana, what's up?" said Sucy with Lotte hiding at the back of her.
"Can I have Akko's number?"
"Why?"
"Well I forgot to ask her and it's hard for me to see her,"
Sucy paused for a few seconds looking at me.
"Do you like her?"
"What!"
"I said do you like her?"
Blushingly I said
"Umm..yeah,"
"I can't hear you,"
"Im interested in Akko but don't tell her!"
Sucy smiled as my face turned red admitting the fact that I have fallen for a cute dork.
"In that case, here you go,"
Sucy handed me her number and I was happy.
I smiled and said "Thanks,"
"You said that it's hard to see her right,"
Said Sucy.
"Yeah, I don't know but I can't see her around campus. Why?"
"I'm gonna tell you something but keep it a secret from everyone and don't tell Akko I told you,"
"Yeah sure,go ahead," I was clearly interested.
"Okay, every night Akko goes to the garden behind the school campus to practice her magic. It's illegal to practice magic at school grounds without a supervisor or a teacher aound but no one really goes to that garden so it's kind of her secret place to be alone and do her magic,"

"Why does she do it alone?"
"Well being the Queen of Luna Nova I'm sure you might have heard rumours of Akko,"
"Oh.....that," a frown formed on my face.
"Unlike you, people keep disrespecting and almost bullying her by spreading rumours. People around here don't like being around her and that's why she prefers to be alone,"
"Is she okay with that?"
"She can't expect people to change their view of her and she can't change for them. No matter what, Akko will never give up on magic,"
"Why would she study magic despite no one uses it anymore?"
Lotte who was hiding behind Sucy steps up in front of me.
"Because magic is what makes Akko special. You'll understand when you see her practice at the garden,"
I was surprised that the both of them really care about Akko. It also seemed like I didn't really know the real Akko. I didn't know anything about her. I should really get to know her more. I looked down and sighed.
I smiled and looked at Lotte and Sucy.
"Thank you to the both of you. I will try my best,"
"We'll get going then, I think now she'll be at the downtown cafe,"
"Thanks Sucy,"
"Go get her tiger," said Sucy while winking at me.
I blushed and waved them goodbye as I rushed to see Akko.
