Lilith sat within her luscious forest-like garden, complete with green, overgrown pastures and winding, intertwined weeping willow trees. Mushrooms grew wild in cultivated circles and every type of feral flower bloomed amidst the nature surrounding the quaint little cottage in which the young woman resided. She was admiring the sunset, with its golden hues colliding with pink and red and yellow. It lit up her porcelain skin, her emerald green eyes shimmering as her long, deep rusty coloured hair glistened like embers of fire. Her deep maroon dress gently flowed in the breeze as she allowed the cool air to flow steadily by.

The crow of a Raven echoed nearby as it hopped along the garden floor, flapping it's glossy black feathered wings; it's eyes watching intently as a Magpie swooped through the twists and turns of the weeping willow trees in a flash of black and white stripes.

The Raven cawed and flew after it, in a playful game of chase. Lilith looked up at them and let out a small chuckle. Those two often graced her garden with games of chase and hide and seek. The Raven especially liked jumping out on the Magpie which always gave Lilith a giggle or two.

A gentle breeze rustled at the leaves on the tall green hedge of which she sat in front of, a sweet waft of pollen filling her nose as she inhaled in the scent deeply and sighed in satisfaction."What a lovely day".

It wasn't long before the stars twinkled in the dark night sky, like flickering light bulbs and the full moon stared down with it's curious face and gentle glowing aura.

"The moon always looks sad, don't you think Melody?", Lilith questioned in wonder, her striking emerald green eyes gazing up at the moon. The white and brindle coloured cat let out a high pitched meow in response, almost like she was agreeing with her owner.

"See? It has two big round eyes, an open mouth like it is shocked or wondering about something, and a few little freckles", added Lilith as she sprinkled some culinary lavender in to her soup concoction. She stirred it up with a big, crooked, wooden spoon and then sampled some. I was divine. "Mmm, Melody, this is very good soup. Would you like to try some?", she asked as she held the spoon out, the familiar sniffing it and rearing it's nose.

"Picky", sighed Lilith. "I guess cold cat meat is more your thing huh?". The cat purred as Lilith nodded. "I suppose we had better get you some then".

She walked over to the old wooden cupboards and opened the one nearest the sink on the floor level. She grabbed a sachet of squidgy, jelly coated cat meat and tore off the top of the packaging; releasing a pungent smell of meat that was so strong Lilith heaved a little, quickly pouring it in to the cats silver bowl and placing it down on the floor.

The hungry kitty quickly ran to its meal, wolfing it down. Anyone would have thought the little creature hadn't eaten yet today, however it had already had its breakfast.

"Guess you find it appetising, but not me...my lavender, rosemary and thyme vegetable soup is more my taste", chuckled Lilith as she sat down, about to take a much deserved mouthful of her meal, until rustling stopped her in motion, her eyes landing on a truly peculiar and rather unwelcomed sight.

"Mine too!", came a gruff, mischievous voice as a short, stocky leprechaun with a chisled face and cropped blonde hair suddenly jumped up on to the worktop and grabbed the pot of left over soup, glugging it down in messy mouthfuls.
