Chapter 18 - Getting ready

Normal POV 

Its Saturday around 5am Natsu was fast asleep but Lucy was way too excited for the carnival perfect timing for fun seeing as she just broke up with Sting.
The Carnival is gonna be at the old amusement park that closed down last year and it starts around 9 and ends tomorrow morning don't know how that works but it gives the people a chance to have fun literally all day long

"Natsu, Natsu, Natsu... Wake up, Cmooooooonnnn WaKe Up!" Lucy repeated trying to wake the VERY tired pinkette
"Lucy.. Why are you up... *yawn* So early" Natsu said rubbing his eyes
"Get up the Carnival's today" she was definitely excited
"Five more minutes" he rolled over and fell back asleep
"wAkE Up"
"Its only 5... Wake me up at 8"
Lucy fell on the ground in defeat
"Hmm" She said "I wonder"
She yanked Natsu's scarf of his neck making him roll of the bed and make a loud thud
"What Was That, Lucy"
"Nothing..... Natsu just fell" she told her mum
She took Natsu's scarf and put it around her own neck playing around with it trying to entertain herself until Natsu woke up.

Natsu's POV

"This is really warm" I heard Luce say to herself
How the heck did I get on the floor
I woke up from my at least 4 hour nap to find Luce wearing my scarf and she looked so.... Cute
I obviously began blushing, I had to hide my face so I buried it in my pillow
"Oh you're awake" she said smiling
"Whud er you doin wif my scarph" I said still tryna hide my face
"What?? You wouldn't wake up so I had to entertain myself"
"Well, I'm up now" I rolled over lying on my back "and how did I end up on the floor?" I asked
"I dunno, I left the room, came back you were on the floor" she's obviously lying
"And how did you get my scarf?"
"Found it on the floor?"
"Sure" I rolled my eyes "you're bad at lying you know
I stared at the roof for a minute, my hands behind my head, not noticing Luce crawling towards me.
She layed her head on my stomach
"Whatcha thinking about?"
"The Carnival"
"Careful, remember your motion sickness, best not to think about all those rides going up, down, side, other side, upside down"
Oh god how I wished she never said that
I got up covering my mouth and ran towards the bathroom
"Bleh... Oh my gawd..... Bleuhh" all you could hear was me throwing up in the bathroom
"You algood!!" She yelled
I gave her a thumbs up out the door

I washed out my mouth and walked back in her room
"Hey can you chuck me my bag"
"Ok why"
She threw me the bag
"I came prepared this time" I said pulling out a toothbrush and some toothpaste
"You just carry that stuff around with you"
"Yeah, thats what happens when your brother dates the president of the student council" I say "Always be Prepared... I also carry a change of clothes, some snacks and my passport in there"
"In case you gotta leave the country???"
"Eeeeexactly" I start brushing my teeth

"Wow those 2 hours just flew by"
"Seriously"
"Yeah look"
I check the time and see that its already 7 o clock
"Uhh hey imma hit the showers K"
"Yeah, you need a towel?"
"Nope, already got one"
"Good, cause I'm too lazy to go get you one"
I chuckled and went to take a shower

Lucy's POV

Yay... Its Carnival day, its carnival day.... I haven't been to a carnival in ages it gonna be sooooo fun
And since I dumped that cheating bastard yesterday I can go as hard as I want... Yessss
Hmm I might as well pick out an outfit to wear today
I got up from my comfortable bed and walked to my closet
Lets see I basically had an entire fashion show judging on how many clothes I tried out then I found something... Nice yet subtle... Extreme yet grounded...... Honestly I'm just gonna look like a boy.
Yea I didnt feel like wearing that so I dramatically denied it and threw it on the floor like an actress

You know what I'll just wear this
I pulled out my favorite 'My Chemical Romance' shirts and paired it with my blue jean short shorts.
For accecories I'll wear my Aquarius necklace and sunglasses.
And done. Actually I think I'll take my school bag in case I need to hold something, or if I need snacks... Hehe

"Hey Natsu, you done in the shower"
"Yeah, hold up"
I picked up my towel and sat on my bed waiting for Natsu to get out.
"I'm done"
He walked out of the shower, brushing his teeth, in nothing but his towel
Oh My Fucking Goodness he's hot- what no stop thinking bad thoughts Lucy snap out of it- bad Lucy.
I was so lost in thought I didnt notice I was blushing
"😳"
"You like what you see" he smirked
"What... No.. Shuddap and put on some clothes!" I put my hands over my face
"Okay, okay I will" he's still smiling
I ran into the bathroom still covering my face
That asshole you don't sneak up on a girl like that
Okay calm down Lucy its not like you like him or anything
I went to take my shower and soon forgot about what just happened

Natsu's POV

Good thing I bought my change or else I wouldn't have anything to wear.
I pulled out what I packed, my black jeans, my plain muscle T as well as my 'Panic! At the disco' hoodie

Its now 7:45 Lucy isn't out of the shower yet so I'll go wait downstairs
I make my way to the kitchen and sit at the table to wait for Luce.
I play on my phone to past some time

"Hi Natsu"
"Hi Layla"
"So you two are going to the carnival today, right"
"Yeah"
"And she broke up with Sting yesterday right"
I think she tryna tell me something
"Yeah...."
"You know what means right"
At this point I'm so confused
"Right" I agree even though I have no idea
"Ugh, clearly you don't... This is your chance to make your move on Lucy"
Took me a while to understand but then I got it
"Oh my gosh, you're right"
"Uh huh, so what's you're plan"
"I dunno, oh maybe at the carnival I'll-"

Just as I was about to end my sentence Luce came hopping down the stairs in such a happy mood, And damn those shorts are, well, short
"Hi ya how do I look" she asked
I was speechless if she can look hot in clothes as normal as this I wonder what she look like without any clothes at-"
*SMACK*
Layla hit me at the back of my head... Hard
"Ouch" I said quietly "what was that for"
"I know what you were thinking and she's still my daughter, so stop"
"Yes Ma'am" she's as scary as Erza

"Well its 8:30 now, you kids should get going"
"Okay mum... Can I the keys please"
Layla threw her the keys
"Yay, I'm driving"
"Hey you two look after each other and stick together, oh and Natsu"
I turned around to face her
She signaled me to make my move and I signalled her that I would and to be patient and I ran out to the car.
And now we're on our way to the carnival.
