He reached into his shirt and pulled out a matching piece. He took it off then put it near the other one. No doubt they belong together.

"What does it mean?"

" It means - "

"We got our best friend back!" Laurent yelled running towards me excited

beware he is a six foot giant. If my ankle didn't hurt I would have ran .He threw his arm over my shoulder pulling me into a side hug "you look so pretty I knew you looked familiar "Laurent says leaning in extremely close to get a  look.  i leaned back a bit I didn't say anything I just stared at the two ."bestfriend" my childhood has been a blur since I was adopted I've well aleast tried to relinquished every memory so I could start over but this would explain why I couldn't bring myself to willingly take it off.

"What now?"Jamie asked

"We.....go out!"

"Wat?"Jamie and i unison

"After workshop we go do something fun"

"Basketball! "Jamie nearly screamed

"Woah okay"they laughed

After workshop

Everyone (Jamie and i and Larry and Laurent ) left and got dressed then we met back up at the park.

It was two on two. this is funny jamie is very competitive is she has perfect defense she scores 3's like its nothing  the score was 35 to 6 the first round 47 to 14 the second then 61 to 20 the third .she's not that much better than me but we're always in beast mode.

Well Laurent and Jamie were talking smack and I snuck away to a park nearby and I started to think again

It seemed pointless to start over we only knew each other when we were little. 3 years tops. It's been 10 years since I was adopted. How do they remember me beats me. Does it mean something or is it a coincidence.

This anklets / necklace has been my good luck charm my safety blanket that I can wear around my neck or foot. I don't want to sound childish but I'm not giving it back.

"And one!" Lau yelled walking to the beach followed by Jamie who was covered in sweat

" What happened to you it looks like you ran a marathon"I say turning giving them my full attention

" I know and the worst part is that it's not even mine" she shivered

" I want round 4"Laurent sat down and teid his shoes

" why you're going to lose"jamie say dabbing her face with a hand towel

" no you cheat!" Larry standing beside me

"How"I laughing

"Because you distracted me"

" at least you didn't get drenched by Laurent" Jamie says looking at his

"What I do"Laurent says placing his hand on his chest

" you whip your head to  the side like you or Beyonce or something and pills hit me with your sweat or grease I don't know what "she started reenacted has the flip

"My B"he kissed her cheeck and she quickly stop talking

*faint sound of ice cream truck*

"Mori"larry calls

"Yes"

"Come"he held out his hand helping me up

We slowly started walking to the kiddie area" I know how you feel "Larry says slowly walking towards the swings

"Really tell me what do I feel"

" you feel confused and ... I dont know.... But i feel like....I don't know what but it's good like this was meant to be... At least to me"

I nodded not knowing what to say

"Its okay if you don't"

"I probably do im just not 100% sure"

" Larry and I are going to have a huge party tonight"

" you want me to come in party ."I said was like a question

" no I want you to serve drinks of course I'm going to the party!"

" I think might be busy" I'll put the fake thinking face on in reality I have nothing planned. My weekend is completely free

"Please" he grabbed onto my hand

"Hm"

" can you really say no to this face" he kissed my hand and looked me in my eyes

"I get to dance with you at least once"

"Larry! Hurry up! Hungry!" Laurent was waving the keys to the car in the air trying to get his attention.

He smiled then handed me the address.
