Running from the Sky

It's the year 3014. My name is Ell. I have to write my whole story down. All of it. We might lose and then they will write down lies. Someone has to know the truth. If they don't agree with all of my opinions, well, at least they know what happened.

Some people call us crazy. We're the Fighters. Read on if you want to hear our story.

2465- This was when the world could barely support human life. Very few crops could grow. And if they could grow, they wouldn't be enough. During this time, some countries allied and took over the world. They were known as the Powerful Rulers.

2489- It was decided that humans would go into outer space and colonize on different planets. Huge ships would take them. There was only one problem. Not everyone would fit on those ships.

2491- The ships were built and boarded. Only then wealthy, powerful, and rich could get on. Then, there was extra room on the ships and most people left the Earth. One eighth of the population was left.

2492- The ships left, and the world went crazy. Adults had abandoned some of their children. Kids had snuck onto The ships.

2509- People had eaten all of the food that was left. Most people that were on Earth didn't make it. 60 % died.

2510- The world got their own government. Food was grown again.

3000- The world was going pretty good. Until now. This was the year I was born. That wasn't the bad part. The bad part was that the world that the people colonized on was ruined! They had come back!

In 3000, many people had welcomed them, but when the people landed their ships, they treated us like we were a different species. It turned out that a layer if the atmosphere in their world,which was called Nongondo 2, had been ruined and it caused a huge epidemic for some reason. The people had blamed their ancestors for landing on the planet!

Anyway, a lot of people had died. They then got the old ships out and flew back here! They thought that they were better than us do they tried to enslave us.

I've told you the history that you need to know to understand this. Now, I'll tell you my story.
