My fav pic of Niall
I sat on stage sitting criss cross eating a snack during sound check watching Louis chase Zayn across the enormous stage. I sigh at the childish behavior that I had to endure once again while we waited on Niall to show up. For some odd reason he was late.
I finished my snack and decided to strum against my guitar strings. I hummed to the tune of Nialls song and nod my head in the moment.
That turned into me strumming random chords singing along with whatever lyrics that came to mind.
"Saw your body language and I know how you're feeling, you look the kind of guy who's tired of speaking, standing with somebody and he doesn't know what you like." I sing out and strum more notes out.
"You caught my attention you were looking at me first, saw that I can teach you, waking up in my t-shirt, if you're not hooked to anything right now I could be your vice." I say letting my voice falsetto as I let the note ring out into the stadium.
I froze for a second realizing how loud I was and how silent it was. It wasn't long before I turned to see the boys behind me staring at me shocked. I frown looking at them confused.
Was it bad? Fuck are you looking at?
"Dude you find a new way to amaze me everyday." Liam speaks up and I can see him towards the back sipping on tea and laying against the rug Niall had set up on stage. Louis and Zayn just burst into applause.
I simply flip my hair behind my shoulder and smile before blushing madly. No matter how many times people compliment my musical abilities I'll forever be humble about it. I will always love that feeling.
"What if you kind of sped it up though?" Zayn says and I kind of didn't even remember the lyrics that just came out before Zayn grabs his bass. He starts back up with the same notes I played and started singing the same thing surprisingly remembering the words but singing it in a 3/4 time measure.
Not gonna lie it sounded amazing.
"Fuck yes! Yes and add like a-" he gestured for me to keep playing the notes and I practically improvise when he adds on. "All you need to know is, you can call me! When you're lonely! When you can't sleep! I'll be your temporary fix, you control me even if it's just for tonight!"
In the back you could hear Liam yelling yeah over and over again making us laugh but also exciting us terribly.
"We actually make a really good team." I say and Louis shrugs. He then dusts off his shoulders and flips Zayn off in his face.
"Of course. My musical genius is amazing. I know." He says and Zayn trips him making Louis jolt forward to catch himself.
"We should sing it." We all year towards the entrance of the studio. There came in Niall with his assistant and manager walking in next to him as he sipped on some smoothie.
I look at him and catch his glance before he smiles at me subtly. I watch him wink at me as he comes up the stairs and I decide to head to my position to rehearse a bit.
"Okay we're gonna start with Slow hands and then drift off to Since we're alone. He says sitting his smoothie on his stool. I sling guitar around my neck and wait for Nialls cue.
"1...2...1...2...3...4 and." On cue I hear Louis come in and I hear Nialls little whoo before I start coming in with the others. We were all bobbing our heads as Niall sang.
He would take sneaky little glances and looking me up and down. I smirk and nod to the beat. He took the mic and sang into it as he was trying to make love to it. Every time that whoo came up Louis made it his business to join Niall just to annoy him.
