Family: Her father works in the mines and her mother tries to get odd jobs cleaning, food is a hard thing to get for this family. She has two older brothers (Charlie and Lupine - 15 and 13 years old in that order) and four younger siblings - two of them boys (Max, 8, and Flint, 4) and the other two girls (Acacia, 7, and April, 5). There isn't really enough space for them all in their little house in the seam, but they manage to get by. They're pretty close because of that.
Background: Nothing interesting has ever really happened to Alyssa, she's just your normal little twelve year old.
Looks: She has the dark hair and eyes that is normal for her area. She is fairly small in her size. She could probably be called fairly beautiful for her age, but she has never had the reason or money to show that. Its hard for her to get a good warm bath as well, since she has that many siblings and its hard enough as it is.
Personality: She is a bright, fairly bubbly little girl. She is used to large numbers of people and she finds the Capitol people quite funny looking. She just wants to go home to her family really.
Strengths: She is quite good at hiding and climbing.
Weaknesses: She has never tried a weapon and she isn't sure where to start with that. She also doesn't know much about plants.
Weapons: Does hiding count? She could probably learn to throw a knife as well.
District Token: A necklace with a little flower on it, its been passed down her family and her mother insisted that she took it. Her family has always seen it as a bit of luck for them.
