Jennie soon arrived at the SM Entertainment building, where Red Velvet was supposed to be working on some song ideas. Jennie walked up to the front desk, and greeted the lady. "Hi, my name is Jennie Kim.", Jennie said. "What are you here for today Jennie?", the lady responded. "Irene invited me over. Is she here?", the receptionist nodded, and told her which floor they were on.
Taking the elevator up there seemed like forever, as she tried to push back the thoughts of her former friends. When the elevator opened again, she was met with Joy and Seulgi. "Ohmygod Hi! Jen! You're here!", Seulgi said as she and Joy embraced Jennie in a hug.
"Hey guys! Irene invited me to work on my solo album to get my mind off things." "You deserve better Jennie. They let the wrong one go. We should do a getaway after you album release, just to chill", Joy suggested. Jennie nodded. "I would like that.", Jennie said as the girls said their goodbyes and Jennie made her way to their dorm.
Jennie did their signature knock. 3 light taps, 2 fast taps for each hand, and lastly 5 semi loud taps. Wendy opened the door, and greeted Jennie with a hug, inviting her in. Jennie walked in and her and Wendy talked until Irene got out the bathroom.
Once Irene got out the bathroom, Jennie ran up to her and hugged her. Irene returned the hug as she asked her friend if she was ok, which Jennie assured her she was. She didn't wanna worry her friends, but she wasn't okay. She felt as if the world had turned against her.
She started to write songs down in her journal. Trying to find some inspiration for the album. But her mind kept wandering. Kept wandering to the day the people she thought were her friends turned their back on her. It didn't help that most of the songs already written in her journal were about them.
She soon gave up, tired of getting nowhere with songwriting. She let out a breath of frustration as she went to the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror and let a teardrop fall. Things had been so hard for her lately and she didn't think it would have this big of an effect of her career. She wiped her tear, and went back out.
"Hey guys, I'm gonna head home, it's getting kind of late...I'm tired.", She said. "Ok, take care. I'll call you tomorrow.", Irene said, giving her friend a hug. Jennie gave her a small smile, and left the building. As she was leaving the building, she saw paparazzi crowding her former band mates along with BTS.
She tried to sneak away, but they caught her leaving the building, and started harassing her to take pictures. She was able to get away, but later that night she saw a headline all over the Internet. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
