Jin was getting changed into his pyjamas when Namjoon called. It was a face time call. Jin quickly wore his pyjamas as he rushed towards his phone to pick it. He grabbed the phone as he sat on his bed, picking up the call. He saw Namjoon with a huge smile plastered on his face. "Hi" Jin said while smiling back. "Hi!" Namjoon exclaimed. "Why are you so happy?" Jin said, adoring the fact that Namjoon was very happy. "Okay so, I moved out." Namjoon said like a happy kid. "That's good news, that means you're away from your father now?" Jin said. "Yes, but that's not all." Namjoon continued. "What is it?" Jin asked curiously. "The new apartment I moved in close to yours." Namjoon said as Jin got excited. "Really?!" Jin said in quite a high voice.

"Where is it?"
"It's just across the street, now we'll be able to see each other everyday."
"I'm coming over right now."
"What? It's almost eleven p.m. It's quite late. You also have to go teach tomorrow."
"Tomorrow's Saturday Joon."
"Right, I forgot."
"I'm coming over right now, send me the exact address."Jin said as he hung up the call, he was thrilled to hear that exciting news. Especially since Namjoon also looked very happy, it truly affected him. Namjoon texted him just as asked to, as Jin grabbed his slippers and opened the door. "Where are you going this late?" He heard Yoongi asking. Yoongi was sitting on the table, roaming through some documents he had for work. "Namjoon's place." Jin said, there were no secrets between him and Yoongi, they've been friends for long, always trusting one another. "You're staying there?" Yoongi asked. "No, he moved nearby, I just want to check on him." Jin replied. "Okay, say hi to your boyfriend for me." Yoongi said with a thumbs up. "Yah! Min Yoongi!" Jin yelled as Yoongi snickered. "It's quite cold outside, maybe it will help cool down your red face." Yoongi continued as Jin just headed out and slammed the door behind him.

Jin eagerly knocked on the door, Namjoon opened it a few moments later. Namjoon observed Jin from head to toe, he was wearing pink pyjamas with hair messy and his cheeks were rosy. That left Namjoon in awe. "You look so cute Jinnie~" Namjoon said as he ruffled Jin's hair as Jin's cheeks turned to a darker color. "Won't you let me in?" Jin asked. "Only if you let me in your heart." Namjoon said with a wink as Jin slapped his arm. He then slightly pushed him, trying to get in. Namjoon heard a sudden loud gasp. "What is this mess?!" Jin partly yelled. "I still didn't unpack my stuff-" Namjoon tried to defend himself but that didn't help. "Not just the unpacking, what's this everywhere ?" Jin continued as he saw empty food wrappers and scattered clothes all over the floor. "I'm sure it was way neater before you came." Jin sighed. "I'll help you clean tomorrow." He continued as Namjoon replied. "No, it's fine, I can do it myself." he said. "You? You'll clean? Shut up, what kind of lie is this?" Jin said as he moved a shirt off the couch and sat there. "When did you move here?" Jin asked Namjoon. "Around 10 a.m I guess.." Namjoon answered. "10 a.m. And you didn't tell me?!" Jin gasped. "You're scaring me" Namjoon said, sounding scared, in a mocking way. "Okay, sorry, It's just that I wasn't home all day till earlier." Namjoon apologized as he sat on the couch facing the one that Jin was sitting on. "I'll let you off on this one" Jin said with a sigh.~~~~~~~
A moment of silence accompanied them, not knowing what to speak about. "So... your father agreed to you moving away?" Jin asked as Namjoon nodded. Jin felt so much pity for Namjoon, an adult still under the control of his father, but finally all that stopped. Getting verbally abused by his father for something he has by nature, which is also very normal, that's very wrong. "Well, it was with the help of my younger brother." Namjoon said. "He's the one that helped my father agree, I would've still been still there." the younger continued. "What about your job?" Jin asked. "I still didn't think about that, living by myself is more than enough for now." the younger replied, earning a nod from the elder. "I'm glad it's better now." Jin said, earning a small "thank you" from the younger. "Anyways, enough sad talk, let's change the topic." Namjoon said after he cleared his throat.
Talking for a while, with laughs here and there, they didn't even realise the time passing. "It's already one a.m?" Jin said in a surprised tone. "I didn't even feel the time passing." Namjoon replied. "Wow, I should get going, Yoongi might get worried." Jin said as he got up. "Wait, sta-" Namjoon quickly said but stopped in realisation of his words. Jin hummed in response, asking Namjoon to clarify himself. "N-never mind, let me walk you there." Namjoon continued but Jin shook his ahead. "I can go by, myself." The older said. "But it's late-" "Namjoon, it's literally two minutes away." He said, quietly enjoying how worried Namjoon was. "I- okay, just make sure to text me when you get there." Namjoon replied, still uncertain. "Oh my, okay okay, I will" Jin said as he left the house, saying bye to each other.
