"Hyuck, I'm so sorry," his voice cracked as it was around 3 am, when he set foot at their shared apartment to find the male buried in tissues, and cold medicine tablets.
"You told me 5 minutes! How the hell did you get 15 hours out of that!" He screamed hoarsely as he was angry.
His boyfriend had left him. Alone while he was having the most painful, atrocious, and harrowing experience in his whole life. His flu had gotten the best of him the past few weeks, and all he could do was sit and wallow.
Sometimes friends like Chenle, or Jisung would come and sport him some medicine or chicken soup. But never in the full two weeks that he's been sick has his boyfriend ever taken responsibility to help him.
Though the day before, he finally was able to see the male, who offered to go to the drugstore and promised to be back in record time, but somehow, some other reason, as usual, caused him to come home the next day, in the early morning, not carrying a bag that was supposed to be filled with medicine.
"You promised, Mark." His tone is cold and barren.
"I'm so sorry love," he walked up to male and looked deeply into his eyes, once again using his charm on the angry, and somewhat delirious male, "I never meant to take that long, something came up-"
"So you just left to attend to you affairs, while I'm here practically dying, and losing my sanity because this shit is so freaking painful!"
"I never meant for it to take that long, I'll make it up to you," He uttered truly saddened at the fact that he got too caught up in his work, and forgot to take care of his boyfriend.
He had finally realized that he had a problem. Though the younger male finally started seeing the signs, and the red flashes in his head, but something still didn't click and he uttered the usual,
"It's fine."
He felt forced to say these words in hopes of seeing change. In hopes of seeing the man he once loved.
