Periodical exams are probably one of the worst things you can encounter in school. Periodical exams will make you feel small and degraded everytime you see the disappointing results of your efforts..however as a student you will have no right to reject taking one.

You'll probably go lower if you do. That's why the exams are perfect materials for testing how much academic growth students have made.

And it's the perfect tool for winning a bet with the perfect plan and unending effort.

If effort your efforts are failing you then maybe the effort you are giving wasn't just enough because the only thing that will never betray  you is effort.

And I will be willing to squeeze out every effort I have in my body to perfect my exams.

Not just on one subject but all of it! This way I will have Neige's  heart.

Yes. Kind of creepy and I sound too obsessed. But! This plan will not only benefit my love life but my academics as well.

Although there are certain risks. Having perfect scores on all subjects will cause teachers and even classmates to expect more of me and I will have to maintain it.

But! If it's for her I'll do it!

"Niccolo..naririnig ko ang mga pinagsa-sasabi mo." Biglang sabi sa akin ni Freya which ahad me jump a bit from where I was sitting on and besides her was Neige who was smiling..

"You are really trying way too hard.." she spoke and laughed ever so lightly and sat besides me

"What's this?"she said and swiftly took my notebook with all sorts of notes for my plans.

"I'm studying. Because I'm planning on beating you in academics and so that you will finally say yes to me.." sabi ko and took the notebook from her but of course I did it politely.

"Bakit mo naman kailangan na gamitin pa ang exams?are you not confident of yourself in winning Neige's heart?" Tanong naman ni Freya na nag cross arms pa.

"It's not that I am not confident. I am very confident. But I am also strategic and this is plan b." Sabi ko kaya ay napahalakhak silang dalawa.

"Well..whatever you are doing keep it up!" Sabi ni Freya sa akin and patted my shoulders

"But you'll have a hard time because Neige here is quite competent and somehow unbeatable at acads." Sabi ni Freya and pointed at Neige who now crossed her arms and acted like she looked down on me like I was just a bug

"Kaya kung may plano kang ma perfect sa lahat ng subjects you should just memorize the whole 2nd grading lessons sa lahat ng subject." Sabi nito

My mouth just hanged agape and I just had to look down.

This was much harder than I have expected.

But I gritted my teeth and smile so forcefully.

Never loose hope.

"I'll try harder. Love will be my guiding light!" I said and placed a fist on my chest signifying my resilience.

"Oh ano? Kita mo yun? May pa ganun pa oh.." sabi ni Freya at ginaya ang ginawa ni Niccolo kanina

"Tsss..." ang tanging naisabi ko nalang at tumingin sa unahan.

Somehow making Niccolo wait is making me feel bad. But just like I have said..If I were to say yes I want to say it ready to fully give my heart to him.
