"Man this machine gun is loud!" said a Machine Gunner
Machine gun fire was blasting the demigods below, and mortar rounds were blasting them 5 feet in the air.
Everything was going very good until the tanks arrived. 2 tanks were blown out by mortar rounds but the rest blasted out machine gun nests.
"Retreat!" yelled a regimental commander. A few seconds later, he was knocked down by a rifle round.
Everyone ran back to the second line of trenches where one of Percy's regiments was also coming to reinforce the trench. Both sides were furiously calling for more tanks and anti-tank guns.
Soon, Percy's side got a few anti-tank guns. Percy's side cheered and instantly started blasting Jimmy's tanks.
Percy's infantry reinforcements (the 11th regiment) was getting cut down by MG1 fire and M1 mortar fire. They retreated and exchanged fire with the 1st Corps.
