Prompt: In an AU that you are color blind until you meet your soulmate. However if your soulmate dies or is yet to be born, you remain colorblind until you meet this soulmate. Some males and females can get pregnant if there is a certain pair of soulmates of the same gender. But if your soulmate rejects you, the rejected soulmate is allowed to see color while the other one must learn to love until then they are still colorblind.
Side note, parents keep their children inside until they are of age that they can speak.
Another side note, the soulmates must meet physically to be able to see color. If they meet behind a screen they will not know that they are soulmates, however they may get glimpses of color if they fall in love before knowing they are soulmates.
