WHAT WERE YOU DOING RIGHT NOW? FOLLOWING Haru Kato, someone you believed trustworthy (you wouldn't like to think otherwise), so that you could find the pinnacle of all the drug overdoses. You didn't want to abandon Daisuke; you were having second thoughts on the rich detective, however, pairing up with Haru may be better than following someone who was rash and careless to the lives that may be damaged using his impetuous ways.

Currently, you were sat in Haru's small, uncomfortable car, eating cup noodles and taking naps from time to time, taking turns with who should be on the lookout, observing the mysteriously coquettish model. However, as all things do, this was beginning to get... boring. It was the same thing over and over, observe, eat, sleep, observe, eat, sleep. The same food, the same place, the same person. Over the span of a week, you were drilled into the same routine, feeling like nothing but a machine.

You were about to go through the same routine again, but, Haru stopped you, seemingly excited. " I got a lead. "

Almost falling off the seats, you got up, eyes widening. Was it really Haru who found clear evidence that the man behind the substance dealings was the famous (somewhat) respectable model? You opened your mouth, turning to Haru to query him, but he stopped you, pointing to a plump man coming towards the car.

" I did it, Haru-san! " He shouted towards the direction of you and Haru, prominently waving a wad of paper in the air, you assumed this was... articles? Evidence?

" Good job, Mita. " Haru smiled patting him on the back, as a way to say thank you. You stared in disbelief, but you honestly weren't surprised. Of course, Daisuke had his sources, Haru had his. They were able to go their separate ways peacefully, without commotion nor conflict, and were able to work without needing each other. You frowned at the thought, feeling... disappointment coarse through your veins.

" What's happening, then? " You asked, disregarding your negative emotions, " It would be nice to just... arrest him, you know. "

" I'm afraid it's not that simple, " Haru started, " Come infiltrate the building with me. I saw your badass fighting skills back in the day! " There was a playful, pretty adorable smile on his face, making you falter, " Please aid me! "

Once more, you were unsure on what to say. Sure, you were flattered that he had complimented your fighting skills, however, was this just him blandishing you, coaxing you into doing what he wanted? You still generally felt conflicted.

" Fine. Only because... you asked nicely. " You responded, trying not to sound cold or disdainful.

" This is so uncomfortable . " You stared down at yourself, looking at the (very revealing) ( f/c ) dress, feeling extremely self-conscious, " Why did we have to dress up to get into the stupid building? "

" Because, if we don't, we'll look suspicious! And anyway, I already tied up the other criminals and stole their costumes. " Your face heated up.

" B- D- What?  " Haru's face also flushed vibrantly.

" No! I changed them into plain clothing... well, I got someone else to... Well, no matter! We're getting in! Anyway... put on that clingy... slutty girl act. " Even Haru seemed awkward while saying that - making you cringe - doing what he said nevertheless; grabbing onto Haru's arm, pretending to fawn over him. Inside, you were dying, hating every single minute of this torturous moment. Sure, you may be saving many lives this way, but surely Daisuke would've just... bought the whole building...? You were beginning to have doubts; maybe you should've followed Daisuke to avoid the embarrassment of acting in such a way. Although, you'd still prefer your closest friend over a wealthy male, someone who only used his money.
