Just a quick warning, this story is a bit sad.

Beca Mitchell took in a deep breath as she stood in front of the tall building of New Millennium Records, in New York City. She was looking at the building that caused her hell every day, but also the building that could hold the path to her future. She loved working for the label, and she was grateful that working with DJ Khalid had helped her get into such a well-known place, however her boss was a dick. No, seriously, he was a fucking asshole. Beca could not stress enough just how much of an asshole this guy was. Nether the less, she took in a deep breath.
"You've got this, Beca." She heard her girlfriend; Chloe Beale say from beside her.
Beca turned around to look at the beautiful ginger beside her. The producer couldn't help the small smile that escaped her lips at the sight of Chloe.
"But he's SUCH a dick." Beca sighed.
"Well," Chloe smirked, "one day you'll break free from this place and you can tell him to suck it while winning your well-deserved Grammy."
Beca laughed, "god, I hope so."
"Just take a deep breath, clear your mind, and remember why you're here. The music. You're here to create life-changing music." the ginger smiled.
"I'm here to create life-changing music." Beca said with a smile, "thanks, Chlo."
With that, Beca took in a deep breath and entered the building.
"I'm here to create life-changing music." the brunette whispered under her breath.

"Beca. What the fuck is this?" Beca's boss asked as he stormed into her studio. The man was 6 feet of rich, spoilt, asshole. He had taken over charge of the record label after his father, the previous owner, had died. He barely even knew anything about music, but he still had an opinion on almost everything. He was a young, Caucasian man, with blonde hair tied back into a man bun, and bright blue eyes. Eyes that many girls would find attractive, however, he would usually scare them off as soon as he opened his mouth.
"What is what, Nick?" Beca asked as she gritted her teeth, trying to suppress her anger.
"Why are you in here without my permission?" he asked angrily.
"I did get your permission." Beca sighed.
"Oh, no, no, no, no." the man smirked as he moved uncomfortably close to the small brunette sitting on a chair in front of the main desk. "You didn't get my permission..." he said seductively, "which means, that you didn't follow my rules. Do you know what happens when you don't follow my rules, Beca?" he asked as he leaned over the brunette.
Beca gulped uncomfortably, she could practically feel the man's breath on her face. "N-no..." she stuttered.
Nick chuckled and tucked a strand of Beca's brown her behind her ear, "I'll tell you what, Beca. I'll give you a chance to redeem yourself. How about, tonight? 7 o'clock?" he smirked.
"I-I" Beca stuttered nervously.
"Oh, come on, Beca. It'll be fun!" he said cynically.
Beca closed her eyes to take in another deep breath to calm her nerves. When she opened them, she noticed her favorite ginger standing behind the man.
"Just say no, Becs. You're a badass, you decide what you do, not him." Chloe said with an empathetic smile.
Beca nodded and turned back to the man leaning over her, she tried to show the most confidence she possibly could. "You know what, Nick? I think I'll pass. I don't think this," she said gesturing to his position over her, "is appropriate in a work place. I guess I'll just have to take it up with my friend, Aubrey. You know, the lawyer?" she smirked.
