When I arrived my dad was sleeping on the chair, he was waiting for me to return. He woke up as soon as he saw me he rushed up and hugged me tight with tears flowing down his eyes I hugged him tight.

"Where were you!?"

"I crashed at a friends." He sighed a breath of relief how long was he up? Now I'm starting to feel guilty.

"I was worried Hannah!"

"I'm sorry I just forgot to call." I roll my eyes.

"I get your upset but at least tell me where you are or if you're safe!" He pled.

"I know! I just needed some space!"

"And you didn't think to let me know that!"

"Dad, I'm sorry..." I say softly. He sighs,

"For now on, tell me where you are at all times." I nod understandingly. The weekend goes by, at school I see Ian glaring at me. What's the big deal? He's staring right at me with a cold icy stare. It sends shivers down my spine. He walks over to me fuming, I notice the big circles he has under his eyes.

"What the hell!" He whispers. I stand there speechless. "You think you can just storm off whenever the hell you feel like it?" I bit my lip. "I was up all night searching for your ass!" Damn! I forgot! My eyes widen, I'm an idiot!

"Ian, I'm so..sorry!"

"First you tried to surrender yourself, then you took off! What the hell is next?"

"I didn't mean to-"

"Save it!" He pants, "You are the most ungrateful bitch I've ever met!"

"And you are the most insensitive person I've ever met!" I argue back. School takes forever to end, once it does I facetime Justin. He greets me with a smile, "Hey!"

"Hi Han, how have you been?" Lost, upset, confused...

"Good." I say with a simple smile. "You?"

"Everything's good, have you fixed things with your father?" Ugh.... don't even get me started. I groan. I slam my head on the desk.

"Come on it can't be that bad!." He shakes his head to the side, rolling his eyes.

"You have no idea! I don't think I can ever forgive him for what he did." I spat bitterly.

"How bad is it?" He sits up sighing.

"Bad."

"End of the world bad?"

"Worse!"

"Uh huh!"

"Really? Justin?"I say aggravated.

"Come on Han, he's your dad cut him some slack."

"He lied to me Justin!"

"About what?" He looks at me with concern.

"About...everything." I sigh. It feels good to let that out, I haven't been able to tell anyone.

"About what Hannah?" He asks again. He's even more concerned.

"It's...I don't want you to think differently about my dad." I lie.

"What do you mean Han?" I hate making him worry. I sit there staring at him through a screen in silence.

"It doesn't matter!" I brush off. "The point is he lied to me!"

"Is this about your mom?" He asks softly.

"NO!" I yell defensively. He stops and thinks to himself.

"Is your mom alive?"

"NO!" I raise my voice even more.

"Then what is it? What could he have lied to you about that was so bad that made it hard for you to talk to him?" I bit my lip.

"It's complicated." I say.

"Try me!" He demands.

"I can't tell you Justin! I'm sorry but I can't!"

"Does this have to do with the cut on your arm?" Shit, he's bringing that up now!

"No..." I shake my head.

"What's keeping you from telling me the truth?" He demands.

"Just...drop it Justin." I plead.

"First you move with no warning, then you and your dad aren't speaking to one another! What the fuck is going on?"

"I gotta go Justin."

"Hannah! Just talk to me!" I shut off my Ipad to get off of facetime. I wish I could tell you everything, that day where I got that awful scar. The day we decided to move and the day I met Ian and my world flipped. Even if you weren't being threatened I still wouldn't say a word. I don't want to bring up that day where I was drugged or cut. I just want to forget all of it! Like it never happened! At night, I fall asleep and dream, I'm crawling on the ground, to get as far away as I can. My eyelids fall each second, no not here! I can't let it end here! I need to wake up! I have to wake up! Darkness sucumbs me, I open my eyes and see a room that I don't recognize. It's filthy and has no windows. A single light hangs above, I squirm, that's when I realize I'm tied up in a chair. The rope cuts into my circulation of wrists and ankles. I groan and struggle to be released. The door swings wide open, the man is there holding a knife dripping with blood. My heart starts beating, sweat drips down my hands and neck. The man walks over and cuts open my sleeve then pierces the blade in my arm. I begin to shriek in horror, my screams echo in the room. Tears flood down my eyes, he takes the knife out and stabs me again. I scream and cry louder. In the corner of my eye I can see a hooded figure grinning at me.

"You forgot? Haven't you?" I jump up from my bed, and switch on the light. I sit on the floor beside my bed holding my hand to my chest. I pant shakily, I open my night stand drawer for the bottle of sleeping pills. I take three and gulp them down with a glass of water, when I finally feel at ease I jump back in the covers and drift into sleep. In the morning I wake up grumpily feeling off and moody. All day through class, I don't care enough to pay attention to lectures. Even when Violet is talking to me I zone out, maybe I didn't get enough sleep? What time did I even fall asleep? Ian is still pissed at me, which doesn't bother me. If he wants to stay pissed then fine! I don't get how I'm supposed to take all of this in? And be okay with it! What do you expect! First I was told that I'm bonded and have people after me. Now I've learned that people are getting slaughtered for MY best interest! I can't bare it all! Am I losing it? Or are people pointing and laughing at me again? I can feel their stares, did Ian say something to get back at me? He wouldn't, right? I don't know why I have faith in him all of a sudden? Soon as I think I understand him, he throws me a curveball. I take the long hallway to avoid people, soon as I turn the corner I hear a video blasted out loud on a guy's phone.
