(JOHNNY)
I stared at sky waiting for the pies to cook. Oh, how I've missed it. The wind blowing through my hair, the feel of clouds between my fingers. I would give up anything just to feel those feelings again. Jane had been gone about a week now, and my sister had been crying wishing that she can take all that she done wrong back. Ding! The pies were done. I took them out and placed them on the window seal. I can't stay, I thought. She needs me. Grabbing a paper and a pen and I began to write.
Netty,
I am off to find Jane. She needs my help. I need you to keep running the pie shop for me. You know where I kept my pie recipes. The key is in my top drawer. I will explain everything to you when I return.
Sincerely yours,
Johnathan
Packing my satchel with supplies, I walked outside, fetched my brown horse, and rode out of the village.
