(NETTY)

I spent the rest of that day searching  everywhere for my daughter Jane after the meeting. Maybe I was too rough with her. Ooo! How hard it is to be a single parent! What would Peter do? My wonderful husband who left too soon.

"Jane!" I yelled as I searched. "Jane!" I started back to Johnny's bakery. Johnny was making a pie when I walked in.

"Hello, sister. How was the meeting?" He asked.

"Have you seen Jane? She seems to gone missing, Johnny." I asked him. Johnny and Jane were always close. Something I envy about the two. Johnny never kept his eyes off his pies.

"I might I have," He said and I turned sharply toward my brother.

"Johnny, where's Jane?!"

He just shrug. "Have you checked the woods? You know she always goes in there."

"No, she knows better not to go in there with that wild creature still out there." Johnny raised an eyebrow at me. "Oh my gosh! Jane!! We have to go in after her Johnny." I said and stated to rush to the door. Johnny gave a small laugh.

"Don't worry, Netty, she can take care of herself." Johnny said in a way that made me give him a look.

"Johnny, what's going on? You're not telling something." I said getting worried. My daughter was there somewhere.

"Now why would I do that, dear sister?" He said.

"Johnny, tell me right now!" I demanded.

He stopped his work and grabbed my hands and looked straight in the eye. "I do not know where Jane is, Netty." He said.

"You sure?" I stared back at him, suspicious of his actions.

"I am positive." He answered.
