"Carnage, Carnage, Carnage. Did you really think that I wouldn't find you?"
A feral curse was the only response Toxin got from his progenitor. Stepping over the shattered remains of the door to the apartment he felt himself grinning manically. It had taken more time than he would have liked to find the sneaky bastard. But now that he had, Toxin was going to make his life a living hell that is if Carnage survived what he had planned for him. Just thinking about it sent a shiver of delight down his spine. Not wanting to risk his prey escaping, he leaped across the apartment and tackled him to the ground. Animalistic growls echoed off the walls as they bit, scratched and clawed at each other. The floor quickly becoming slick with their blood.
Several tense minutes later and Toxin finally managed to pin Carnage down to the ground. Chest heaving, he gave the arm he got ahold of during their little tussle a firm twist and chuckled darkly when he felt the bones snap. Carnage let out a pained howl and struggled weakly to get away from him. But Toxin held firm, then purred softly so that only Carnage could hear what he had to say. "You're mine for the foreseeable future "father" and you're only allowed to die when I say you can die." Carnage turned in his grip just enough so he could look Toxin in the eye and he then hissed back vehemently. "You better pray that I never get free you son of a bitch because if I do. I promise you there will be Carnage!" Toxin felt his grin turn feral as he responded back lightly. "I'm counting on it..."
Eddie came awake with a start followed by a sleepy groan rasping past his lips. Swiping a weary hand down his face, he did a quick perusal of his room and soon let out a soft sigh of relief when he saw that the only ones here were Lauren and himself. To his surprise, she was still sleeping soundly on the other side of the bed. Her soft feminine snores were music to his ears. As he watched her sleep, memories of the last several months played out through his mind. They had been through so much together. The good, the bad and then there had been the absolute worst. A tender smile teased at the edges of his lips as he gently moved a stray strand of her hair out of her face. But somehow they had both gotten through it in the end.
His chest gave a sudden dull throb causing him to let out a pained grunt. It honestly felt like he was getting stabbed by Scream all over again. With his free hand he laid it across the center of his chest and closed his eyes when the pain didn't let up. Venom curled himself beneath Eddie's ribs and rumbled out soothingly. "Take some slow, deep breaths my friend. The pain will soon pass." He felt his fingers dig into his skin as he did what Venom suggested. It took a couple of minutes before the pain finally faded away. A ragged sigh rumbled in his chest as he slowly opened his eyes and bit back a curse as he found himself face to face with Lauren. Concern shown bright in those hazel eyes of hers as she reached a hand slowly towards his face.
A soft moan rumbled in his chest as her hand gently cupped his face and stroked her thumb across the stubble that darkened his jaw. Sleep still coated her voice as she murmured softly. "Are you ok handsome? I heard you moaning in pain." Leaning into her touch, Eddie replied back lightly. "My chest is just hurting a little bit is all sweetheart, nothing too serious." They stayed like that for several minutes, but he soon felt her gaze being drawn down to the center of his chest. Even though his hand still covered the scar, it was if she could still see it clear as day. Several emotions played out across her face as she placed her free hand over the one on his chest. His heart skipped a beat as he noticed tears gathering at the corners of her eyes.
Without giving it much thought he pulled her close and tucked her face in the crook of his neck as the first sobs wracked through her body. He murmured soothingly in her ear. "It's alright sweetheart, I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere I promise." Another round of sobs left her and he felt the wetness of her tears sliding down his neck and chest. Venom seethed and writhed beneath his skin at seeing her so upset causing a migraine headache to bloom behind his right eye. Grimacing slightly, Eddie snarled at him. "You.Are.Not.Fucking.Helping V!!" An animalistic roar was the only response he got back from the bastard as he continued to thrash about. Mentally he hurled several foul curses at Venom before turning his attention back onto Lauren.
Whose sobs had slowly turned into whimpers and then finally soft hiccups but he could still feel her tears trailing down his neck and chest. Sighing softly, he burrowed his face in her hair and gently rocked them both back and forth. All the while whispering soothing words of nonsense in her ear. It took some time but soon she let out a ragged sigh and lifted her head from his neck. Placing his hands on her hips to keep her from moving, Eddie murmured softly. "Tell me whats going through that pretty little head of yours." A small smile teased its way across her face as she placed her hands on his shoulders. Putting them nose to nose, she purred back huskily. "What's going through my head is how much I want to kill that crazy bitch for trying to take you from me."
Taken aback by her words, Eddie floundered for a response. But what he hadn't prepared for was Venom taking control of his voice box and growling out harshly. "We will not allow you to get close to her to get the chance to!" Raw anger flashed across her face as she glared heatedly back at them and then hissed out. "That's not your choice to fucking make!! She tortured me and let Carnage do whatever the fuck he wanted to me!" Chest heaving, Lauren quickly tore her gaze from his. Then removed her hands from his shoulders and went to move away from him. Eddie bit back a curse and tightened his grip on her hips to keep her from getting too far. A feral growl rumbled in her chest as she hissed at him. "Let me go!"
Shaking his head he rumbled back heatedly. "No, we haven't finished talking yet Lauren." Her eyes narrowed in irritation and then without giving it much thought she placed her hands atop his and dug her nails into them. Grimacing, Eddie felt his control slipping away and Venom was quick to slide through the gaps of his mental blocks. It would only be a matter of time before the bastard shoved his way free. Reaching across their bond he growled out in warning. "Venom, don't you dare interfere-" His words were cut off as he felt a clawed hand wrap itself around his throat and squeeze. Venom then purred huskily in Eddie's ear. "You've had your turn to talk to her, now it's mine..."
In the next breath, Eddie found himself locked behind a wall of mental blocks and could only watch as Venom took control of the situation and pinned Lauren beneath him. A frightened yelp rushed past her lips as she looked up into those large white eyes. Using one of his hands to trap her wrists above her head. Venom then leaned down until they were nose to nose and growled out darkly. "We know exactly what those bastards did to you sweetheart. Hell we still have nightmares from the day we found you bruised and broken atop that mattress too weak to even move!" Chest heaving, he then finished with. "And we'll be damned if we let you get close to them again." A stubbornness had settled into her jaw as she listened to what Venom had been saying.
But he could tell that she was already scheming of a way on how to get herself near Scream or Carnage again. Wanting to take her mind off of it, he purrs out softly. "Come take a shower with me Lauren." Her eyes widened in surprise at that and Venom watched as she floundered for a response. A Cheshire-Cat like grin spread across his face and in the next breath he was off the bed and heading towards the bathroom with her tossed over his shoulder. Lauren let out a girlish squeal and clung to him as he made his way through the house. It took him no time at all to reach his destination and once they were inside he made sure to shut and lock the door behind him. Chuckling darkly, Venom slowly brought her down though he made sure her body pressed up against his the entire way down.
Moaning softy, Lauren grinned mischievously up at him and purred. "You know, I didn't exactly agree to taking a shower. But I'm slowly warming up to the idea." Twirling a strand of her hair around one of his fingers, Venom returned her grin with one of his own. He then purred softy. "Alrighty then, let me get the water going and I'll show you how good shower sex can be." Barking out a laugh, she stepped up to him until only a hairsbreadth was between them and rasped out. "I'm looking forward to it..." He growled low in his throat and clenched his hands at his sides to keep himself from reaching out for her. Then without missing a beat he turned around and set about getting the water to the right temperature.
It took him maybe a minute to do that and then he took one of Lauren's hands in his and led her into the shower. The curtain closed behind them with a soft hiss. Soft feminine giggles could be heard from the other side though soon they turned to moans. As Venom kept his part of the bargain of showing her exactly how good shower sex could be.
