(Y/n) couldn't sleep that night for her mind was racing, she was trying to think of every way that she could stop J.D. from carrying out his ghastly plan. She knew that he was too far gone, and that she was the only one who had any chance of saving him from the mess that he was about to create. (Y/N) kept her eyes closed, desperate to get some sleep, in the hopes of waking up and discovering that this had all been a dream; a nightmare and when she woke up, J.D. would still be the loveable boy that she locked eyes with in the cafeteria of Westerburg. The school that was about to go up in flames. She opened her eyes and rolled over in bed, sighing in annoyance as she knew there was no chance of getting back to sleep but as she rolled over, she shot up in bed as she saw J.D. sat next to her. He'd been watching her, but for how long? "Were you dreaming about me?" He asked with a smile as he jumped onto the bed and sat next to her, his body lay across her bed. "I bet you were." He added, as he pulled her closer to him but she tried to get away. "What's the matter baby?" He asked, as he watched her move to the opposite end of the bed. "You were wrong, and I was right!" He told her. "Why can't you just let the two of us be happy together?" He started to crawl to the other side where (Y/n) was sitting. He took her in his arms as he spoke again. "You know, like we were at the beginning." He felt the sheets that sat beneath them. "You remember our first night together, don't you? You remember our irresistible urge we both had to scream each other's names. Don't you want that again?" He asked, as he started to kiss her neck and move his hands all over her body. At first, she didn't protest, she allowed herself to feel good for a second, and this gave her hope that J.D. could be saved and the J.D. that she'd fallen head over heels for could be brought back to her. However, in this case, she managed to break free and grabbed hold of him. "I don't know who you are, but you are not J.D. and I want him back."

J.D smiled at her. "Baby, it's me. I've been the same person this whole time."

"I don't believe that." (Y/n) said as she shook her head and placed her hands-on J.D.'s face. "To answer your question, I do remember that night, and every other time after that. I desperately want that again, but you can't blow up the school. There has to be another way."

"There isn't." He said. "We have to make them pay for everything. For every time they've made us feel like freaks, like we're worth nothing. It's our only chance at being free."

"We have so many chances to be free." (Y/n) told him, desperate to change his mind. "We could run away together, right now, and not look back. We could forget about Westerburg, we could forget about Sherwood. We could forget about Heather, Heather, and Heather. Kurt, Ram, we could forget about them all and just live our lives together." J.D. looked up at (Y/n) who was now sat on his lap, her body close to his and smiled. "Don't you want to spend your life with me?"

"Of course, I do darling."

"Can't you imagine a mini you or me running around as we live freely? Can't you imagine how happy we would be?"

"Of course, baby." J.D. muttered as he kissed her. He was turned on, and his lips on her skin turned her on, but she continued to fight the urge to push him down on the bed and give in to the satisfaction. "Would you do anything for me?"

"Of course, baby." He repeated.

"Then don't blow up the school." He looked at her and sighed.

"It's too late." He told her. "Everything is ready to go."

"But you don't have to go through with it." She reminded him.

"Yes, I do." She looked at him and scoffed before slapping him. "What happened to you?"

"Nothing happened. I've told you. I've always been the same, but your feelings were just too gross and achy to see the truth."

"You're an asshole." (Y/n) said and J.D. got up from off of the bed.

"You know what. Maybe I am, but you'll see when I blow up that school, it'll be a good thing!"

"Get the fuck out!" (Y/n) said, pushing him away from her, but J.D. simply smiled at her. "Get a good night's sleep, darling. I'll be back tomorrow, so that gives you the night to think about what you want to do, live your life with me or regret the fact that you ever existed. Just know one thing, you will not get in the way of this." He kissed her passionately before climbing out of the window and leaving (Y/n) alone again.

(Y/n) couldn't get in the way of this, she didn't want anyone else to die, but she didn't want to die at the hands of J.D. either. She looked around her bedroom, desperate for an answer and that's when it hit her. If he didn't think that she was going to be an issue, then she would have a shot at stopping J.D. for good. This was the only way to stop him.

The next morning, J.D. was waiting and watched as (Y/n)'s parents got into their car and drove away. He knew that they wouldn't be back till later, so it gave him all day to try and win (Y/n) back and get her on his side. When he was certain that her parents wouldn't be coming back, he approached the front door and lifted up the plant pot to reveal the spare key. Slowly and quietly, he opened the door and let himself inside. It was crazy to think of how much time he had spent in this house, and how this could be where everything ends if his plan didn't get how he anticipated it too. He searched downstairs before heading upstairs, knowing exactly where (Y/n) would be. He approached her bedroom and knocked on the door before trying to open it, but it was locked. "(Y/n)! Open the door! Come on, I just want to talk to you." There was no answer. "You've given me choice." He told her as he kicked the door open to her bedroom and shocked to see her, hanging from her ceiling. "Shit." He muttered as he fell to the floor. "(Y/n). Oh my god." He couldn't find the words and he started shaking. Tears streamed from his eyes as he pulled the gun from out of his pocket. "I didn't mean it!" He shouted, waving the gun around. "I didn't mean for you to actually take your own life." He said as he ran his hands through his hair. "Don't get me wrong, I was coming up here to kill you myself because I knew that I was never going to be able to win you back." He brought himself to look back up at the body that was hanging from the ceiling, so lifeless, so white. "I know that I may have seemed destructive or rash in my decisions, but I want you to know that I never intended to hurt you because I love you much. You were strong and capable but now you're gone." He sobbed. He stayed silent, not knowing what to do next, but he knew that he wanted to stay with (Y/n) a little while longer. He just wasn't ready to leave her yet.

The more he thought about this situation, the more he began to shake with anger. "They did this to you, but you were too blind to see until it was too late. Those bastards, the students of Westerburg High will die. They are responsible for your death, and now I am certain that I will destroy each and every one of them. I am certain that I will burn that place down to the ground, and I will do it all for you, my love." He closed his eyes, picturing the school as it went up in smoke. "I was looking forward to the two of us watching it go up together and eating smores as we watched the smoke pouring out from the doors. I was looking forward to spend the rest of my life with you, more than you could ever know." He shook his head to stop the tears. "We will be together again soon." He told her before climbing out of the window, unable to take anymore.

It was a few moments of silence, before (Y/n) opened her eyes and fell back down onto her bed. J.D. has fallen for it, now she just had to lay low for the next twenty-four hours before she could stop J.D. for good and try and save him from the mess that he was trying to create.
