Elliot's POV (the girl)
Two weeks into packing has been a disaster.
The house is a mess, clothes litter every room, bags and boxes everywhere.
The moving trucks were coming tomorrow to take everything to our new house, so everyone was panicking to make sure they packed everything.
I asked mom how we were gonna sleep since they are taking all the furniture including our beds and she said we will sleep on air mattress and then put them in the car when we leave.
I don't know how time managed to go so fast because last time I checked I had two weeks to pack and now I have two days.
I have been spending a lot more time with my friends so I kinda understand why I'm not packed but still I couldn't be bothered.
Half way through packing the rest of my stuff I got a text from Peyton.
PeyPey: We going to the movies, wanna come?
Ellie: I'm supposed to be packing but who cares. I'll see you guys at the mall, same one as last time?
PeyPey: Yeah. Great, see you there. Oh and wear something cute!
Ellie: Whatever weirdo ;)
I got up and went to my almost empty closet and looked for something to wear.
I settled on wearing white skater shorts and a long black sleeve shirt that hugged my upper body perfectly and paired them with my black Jordan's. I brushed my hair and left my room.
"MOM!" I shouted.
"MOM!"
"Where is this lady," I muttered to myself.
"MO-" I shouted again but go interrupted by Fred.
"Jesus lady, stop shouting!She went to the mall, said something about buying more groceries I wasn't listening"
"Oh okay ,can you tell her I'm going to the movies. I'll be back before 8"
"Sure, wait are you done packing already?"
"Yes-ish, I'll finish when I come back okay?"
"Yeah, yeah"
"Oh and one more thing don't burn down the house," I added.
"Okay, Go already"
I laughed as I headed to the door, grabbed my skatebored and left.
The mall wasn't far from my house so I always walk but today I didn't feel like it that's why I grabbed my board.
10 minutes later I arrived and texted Peyton.
Ellie: Where are yall?
PeyPey: Turn around:)
"What," I said out loud before turning around.
I almost jumped when I saw all my friends standing behind me with smiles on their faces and a banner that said 'We will miss you!'
"You mother fuckers almost gave me a heart attack. What's wrong with you?"
"We do something sweet and this is how we are treated, jeez thanks," Ben one of my best friends said.
"Thats why y'all love me. But seriously guys this is amazing thank you so much!"
I ran up to them and gave each one of them a bear hug before pulling back.
"Not that I'm not thankful it's just, I'm only leaving in two days why do it now?"
"Way to ruin the moment," Zake muttered causing me to push him.
