(Y/N) Pov:

"W-Well... Since we're alone... I-I ne-need t-t-t-to tell you s-something..." I giggled at his shyness. "What is it, Izuku?" I asked, tightening my grip around his arm. He looked to the side and stuttered: "I-I, well... I-I know that you a-and... T-Todoroki-kun are... B-But I..." I waited patiently for him to finish. He eventually stopped and looked at me, saying: "I-I like you, (Y/N)!" My eyes widened a little bit. "Y-You..." Without thinking, I put my arms around his neck, saying: "I..." He couldn't say anything. He couldn't even move. He was too nervous, and I knew that. I looked at his green eyes and said: "I-I like you, too, but..." His expression quickly changed into a somewhat disappointed one. "I just... Like Shouto more... I-It's complicated!" I quickly said, letting go of him again. My cheeks were burning up and before I knew it, I fell to the ground. I landed on my knees and held my ear, saying: "Stop burning already..." in an annoyed tone. Izuku helped me up and said: "I-I'll carry you..." He put me on his back without me saying anything. Even if I would resist, he'd do it anyway. I put my head on his, still covering my ear with my hand. It really is complicated...

Now:

As we got to the infirmary, Recovery Girl sighed. "You can't stay out of trouble for one day, can you?" she asked. I smiled awkwardly, saying: "Guess I can't..." "What happened this time?" "I think my eardrum broke." "How did you manage that?" Izuku sat me on the bed as Recovery Girl looked at my ear. "Well... Let's just say it was a loud 'bang'." She sighed again before healing me, saying: "Try not to get hurt once in a while, okay?" I smiled sweetly at her, saying: "I'll try." She then turned towards Izuku, asking: "Could you have an eye on her? We all have to take care of this clumsy bird, but could you make sure that she won't get hurt?" Izuku nodded, saying: "O-Of course!" I smiled lightly, standing up. "I feel a thousand times better. Thank you, Recovery Girl!" She smiled kindly at me before saying: "Now that you're here already, you can stay for a few minutes." "Why? Class's about to beginn." "I know. But there's someone important that needs to tell you something." "Someone... Important...?" I asked, more to myself as to anyone else. She turned towards Izuku, saying: "You can leave now. She'll be back in class later." "Y-Yes." he said before leaving, glancing back at me before he closed the door. I smiled at him the whole time. "Recovery Girl, who's the person I'm meeting?" "Someone you knew. But I'm sure that his Quirk can and will help you." "I see..." I said, looking out of the window. About ten minutes later, the door opened. "Took longer than expected. Sorry." said a voice I somehow recognized. My head immediately turned around to face him. He looked at me with a smile, saying: "You've really surprised me, ya know." "I... Know you." I said, standing up. He nodded, walking over to me. The mask that he had on the side of his head was black and white, with red eyes. I looked at it before looking at his eyes. I could've sworn they weren't blood red, but... "You should know my name. Can you remember?" he asked, still smiling. I tilted my head lightly, saying: "Uhm... I don't think I remember your name. Sorry." He patted my head lightly, saying: "Don't worry. I'm sure you'll remember soon enough." I looked into his blood red eyes, asking: "Is that your Quirk?" "Something like that, yeah." he answered. "W-Well, what's your name, then?" I finally asked, still looking at him. "Tamaki Kyouda." This time, it was like hundreds of 'clicks'. I remembered everything. My childhood, the entrance exam, every person I hadn't asked their name yet... Everything. My eyes widened slightly. "You're... I... I'm so sorry!" I said, hugging him. "I'm sorry that I hurt you!" He patted my head and hugged me back, saying: "Don't even notice it. You couldn't have known. Besides..." We separated. "It was my fault that you ended up with them to beginn with." "B-But... What did they want from me? I still don't get it." His expression changed into a dark one as he said: "Your Quirk." I blinked twice before asking: "My Quirk?" "Yeah. You're really powerful. If you were able to control it without flaw, you could challenge even All Might himself." My eyes widened as I looked down at my hands. "But there's a drawback to every Quirk. And yours isn't only that you'll start to bleed. It's something more." "Huh? Something... More?" I asked, sitting back down. "That's right." "And what may that be? I never knew about that part." "Neither did anyone else. Well, except one person. Mika." "Mika? Right... Because of his Quirk." "Yeah. I've got a little background information from the League of Villains. My source informed me, that there's a second drawback." "What kind of?" I asked, somewhat irritated. I mean, what? I've had this Quirk nearly all my life, yet never knew about a second drawback... He answered: "It's a bit more complicated than the physical one. The other one affects your mind." "My mind? What...?" "The more you overuse your Quirk, the more you lose yourself. But thanks to the blood loss you get, you're able to stay 'normal'." "So... What happens when I overuse it, without loosing that much blood?" He stayed silent for a bit. "Tell me, please. I want to know it. It's my Quirk, after all." He looked into my eyes, saying: "That depends on the situation. Best case would be if you'll always feel enough pain to stay conscious. Worst case scenario... You'd turn into a psychopath for a short time." I... What...? "That's... Absurd." I said, crossing my arms in front of my chest. "I know, right? But it seems to be true. However, as long as you don't overuse it too much, it won't happen." I sighed, saying: "Understood. I won't overuse my Quirk too much." He smiled at me, patting my head again. "Just what I want to hear!" I smiled at him. Then I turned all serious again. "What changes my mind? There has to be something that does it, right?" Tamaki answered: "Yeah. It's a certain element." "You mean... The darkness?" "Exactly. It's not only really dark, it's also very evil. That's why the League of Villains wanted you to overuse that element as soon as you would've believed their story." I put a hand to my mouth. "I see..."
