A lovely little life (achievement hunter)

Co-workers

I was woken by loud noises down the stairs. I sorted my hair because it had messed up and rushed down the stairs and into the living room. Just to find it full of rooster teeth employees. They all turned and looked at me. I'm a very self conscious girl and I put my head down so people couldn't see my face.

Then all of a sudden I was being grabbed. I looked up and it was uncle Joel ,a smile spread across my face. he pulled me i front of the huge fire place and got everyone's attention.

"Hey everyone this is my niece Maisie she is our new achievement hunter" Joel explained
"Hi everyone" I said nervously

All of a sudden I was being swarmed with hugs and greetings it felt so over whelming that the people I have watched on YouTube for years are recognised me and I now work with them.

After about 20 minutes of meeting everyone I escaped and I was going to go to my room when I opened the door. There was someone in my room.

"Gavin" I said still shocked at the sight of him
"Hi maisie long time no see" gavin replies

I run over to him and give him a hug. I went to all the way through school with gavin he has always been there for me until 4 years ago when he told me he was leaving England to come to Austin. I was devastated.

Each day when I watched achievement hunter videos I would dream that I would see him again. It felt amazing to have him back with me.

"Omg gavin I forgot that you worked at rooster teeth, we are going to be co workers." I said
"That's top, I can't wait I will now have someone who understands all my English slang." he replied. I laughed at the thought of all the slang he says and no one understands him.

I grabbed his hand and dragged him back down stairs.

We walked into the living room and Joel looked at me really confusingly, I explained to him that I went all the way through school with Gavin.

Then Joel wanted to introduce me to my new boss Geoff, I was really excited. We walked over to the mini bar and found Geoff.

"Hey Geoff I'm Maisie I'm your new achievement hunters." I told Geoff
"Wow it's so nice to finally meet you Joel had told me some wonderful things about you." Geoff replied. I blushed.

Geoff brought me to meet all of the achievement hunters so it wouldn't be awkward on my first day there. firstly I meet Ray who has a deeper voice in person. Then Michael who doesn't get as angry when you talk to him, I didn't need to meet gavin obviously. then it was Jack who's beard was way bigger when you properly look at it.

"Where's Ryan?" I questioned
"Wow you watch us on YouTube?" Ray asked, acting surprised.
"Yeah I love you guys" I replied.

They all chuckled. "Ryan couldn't make it, he had a headache." Geoff informed me.
"Oh okay." I replied.

2 HOURS LATER

Everyone had left and it was me and Joel watching a movie with some pizza.

"So.... Did you like everyone?" Joel's asked.
"Yeah everyone was so nice and welcoming to me!" I explained.
"Great, I'm really happy I get to see my amazing niece everyday." he replied. I blushed I was so happy to have someone who I know and love supporting me just like my dad did before he was gone.

My eyes started watering. I told Joel I was going to bed before he saw me crying. I ran up the huge staircase, ran into my room, then into the en suite, and burst into tears.

I sat on the floor crying for 30 minutes before I got changed and got into bed. I was out like a flash!
