A new born baby's wails woke me. A baby crying? I opened my eyes, noticing my dad passed out on an unfamiliar couch, my sister flipping through channels in the chair next to my bed and Harry shushing a baby. Whose baby is he holding?

I looked down to my stomach, my eyes instantly widening as I shot up in bed, everything suddenly coming full circle. Everyone looked over my way, eyes as big as saucers, as the monitor I was hooked too started going off.

"Why the hell is everyone looking at me like they've seen a ghost?" I let out a nervous chuckle, feeling tears start slipping down my cheeks.

"Baby, it's okay." Harry came up beside me, pulling up a chair and handing me my baby. I looked down to see the most perfect bundle of joy fast asleep in my arms, "A lot happened in the past few hours."

"She's okay?" He nodded, looking over at my dad and sister who excused themselves from the room but not before hugging me lightly. "Harry, what happened?"

"You had a hemorrhage and passed out from the blood loss. You're okay now, they took you back for surgery. You've only been asleep for a few hours." He ran his hands through his hair, letting out a shaky breath. I placed my hand under his chin, pulling him closer to plant a kiss on his lips.

"Harry, I'm so sorry." He shook his head, sniffling as I saw a tear trickle down his cheek. I wiped it away with my thumb as a knock on the door took our attention.

"Hi Miss Ames, how are you feeling?" Harry's hand grabbed my free one, squeezing it lightly. The doctor looked over the clipboard in his hand as he waited for an answer.

"I'm okay, I guess. A little shaken up." I answered honestly, shrugging.

"That's to be expected. You had a postpartum hemorrhage, meaning you lost a lot of blood. We gave you a blood transfusion as well as stopped the bleeding in surgery. Your vitals are stable, I'm just going to check for bleeding." I nodded, looking over at Harry whose eyes were fixated on our baby.

"Everything looks good. You're going to be here an extra day for monitoring but as long as you're doing okay, you will be home in a couple of days." I nodded, thanking the doctor before he left.

"We still need a name for her." Harry stated, kissing my forehead as I watched her stir a little in my arms, letting out a huff before settling down.

"So, I have one picked out, I've had it picked out since the moment I knew." I looked up at him, watching him search my eyes for an answer. I told him the name, a smile growing along his face as he nodded vigorously. I kissed his lips once more before telling him to get everybody in here so we could tell them.

When Harry left, I took a moment for myself, looking down at my beautiful daughter. She had my button nose but Harry's full lips. I stroked the full head of dark hair she had, kissing her forehead as I heard everyone walking in.

"Oh honey, I'm so glad you're alright." Anne walked in first with Gemma hot on her heels. They both engulfed me in an awkward hug as not to squish my new baby. I handed her off to an eager Anne as my dad and sister made their way over to hug me.

"I'm so glad you're okay, kiddo." My dad whispered in my ear, kissing the top of my head before ruffling my hair. I groaned, trying to fix it as he laughed. Harry took his place beside me as I smiled at all of them.

"So, we decided on a name. Something we thought both fit her but also incorporated two of the most important people in our lives." Everyone was waiting impatiently for me to speak after Harry's announcement.

"Everyone meet Piper Anne." I saw the tears form in everyone's eyes as a round of gasps made their way through the room. Harry made his way over to his mom as she handed Piper to Gemma, "Piper for my mom, the strongest and most amazing woman I'd ever known. Which is also another bad asses middle name in this room," I winked at Reese, loving the grin taking up her whole face, "And Anne for Harry's mom, who we love just as much." I looked to my dad who was shaking his head and removing his glasses, wiping away the tears he would later deny with the sleeve of his t-shirt.

"You two are going to be the most amazing parents." Anne sniffled, bouncing a bit with Piper who was starting to fuss, "But if you ever need a babysitter, I'll be on the next flight over." I laughed, shaking my head.

"You might have to fight me on that Anne." Reese joked as Anne handed her Piper. I watched as everyone mingled, feeling exhausted once again. My dad sat down beside me, rubbing his chin.

"You know, I think your name might just be better than Turd Ferguson," I smacked his arm, making him laugh, "You know I'm joking kiddo. Your mom would love this. She's got her name and born on her birthday. She'd be so proud of you, I'm proud of you." He started sniffling, making my eyes water.

"No, don't you start crying. My hormones cannot handle it right now." I blinked, trying to get rid of the tears trying to slip out of my eyes.

"Hey, it's allergies. I don't cry." I rolled my eyes at him before crossing my arms over my chest.

"Yeah, whatever you say big man." I patted his shoulder, both of us laughing now. The sensation left me sore as I sighed, leaning back in the bed.

"You need another nap kiddo?" I nodded, feeling my eyelids getting heavy again. He kissed my temple, telling me he loved me before ushering everyone but Harry out of the room so I could sleep. Harry was bouncing with Piper, speaking sweet nothings to her. I fell asleep to him humming Here Comes the Sun to our daughter, a lazy smile on my face.
