Harry
The moment Jensen walked in the door this morning, she made a beeline for Piper, leaving lipstick covered kisses all over her face.
"Good to know I was missed too." I pouted, watching Jensen turn her head with an eye roll. She placed Piper on the blanket on the ground before standing and making her way over to me slowly. Her hands were folded behind her back, a smirk plastered on her features as she stood before me.
"You think I didn't miss you, lovey?" I shrugged, lip stuck out. She wrapped her arms around my neck, our faces only inches apart now. She placed her lips on mine, biting my lower lip between her teeth before pulling back with a laugh, "I might have missed you a little. I can show you just how much later if you'd like." My eyebrows rose at this comment as she winked at me and went back to Piper.
"I'm counting on that," I stated, pointing my finger at her, "How was your trip?"
"It was amazing! I really missed home though." She said, bouncing Piper in her arms and making funny faces.
"Really? Even after living out your dream of singing and dancing on the Coyote Ugly bar?" Her eyes shot to mine, red creeping along her cheeks. I just gave her a cheeky smile.
"How'd you find out?!" She narrowed her eyes at me now, trying to figure out just who spilled the beans.
"Both your sister and Gemma sent me the video but you can find it anywhere if you look up 'Harry's fiancé dancing and singing in Nashville.' You looked amazing babe and truly happy." She groaned before thanking me. I knew she wasn't one for the public eye but she's gotten used to it since we started dating. Plus, she was absolutely incredible in every way and while I wasn't a huge fan of sharing that with the world, I knew she deserved it.
"I'm going to kill them both the second I see them." She shook her head before turning her attention back to Piper, "But since were on the topic, I really think I'd like to start writing and recording again." She looked at me, trying to read my reaction. I couldn't help the huge grin playing on my lips.
"Yeah?" She nodded, looking at Piper as she started babbling on, "What do you think Pip? You think mommy should start writing again?" We both watched as she looked between the two of us before once again speaking incoherently, "Our daughter has spoken, it's a done deal." Jensen laughed, rolling her eyes as she grabbed my hand and squeezed it.
"Maybe she'll be a mommas girl after all." She laughed as I bumped her shoulder, dramatically gasping, "Can you say "momma," baby?" Jensen kept repeating the word, Piper just looking at her with a confused expression before saying the word that would indefinitely seal the deal for me.
"Dada." We both gasped, our eyes wide as Piper spoke her first word. I jumped up in victory, watching Jensen's face fall into her palm with a groan as Piper kept repeating the word and laughing at my reaction.
"I grow you in my uterus for nine months and you have the nerve to come out both looking like your dad and your first word being 'Dada?' Why am I not surprised?" She shook her head as I took Pip from her, dancing around the living room.
"Everyone just loves me, I'm a dream." I shrugged, earning a laugh out of Jensen as she got up to join in on the dance party.
"I guess there's worse things she could have said. She could have a potty mouth like Uncle Louis." Jensen made a face at Piper, earning a giggle before she placed her tiny hands on Jensen's face and placed her open mouth against her lips.
"No kisses for Dada?" I asked, frowning before Piper gave me an open mouthed kiss as well, getting slobber all over my chin. Jensen laughed at this, wiping it away with Piper's bib.
"What a sweet girl," Jensen said, rubbing her nose against Pipers, earning another squeal, "You ready for a nap, baby?"
"Now that you mention it, yeah, I am a little tired." I pretended to yawn, rubbing my eyes. This earned me yet another eye roll as I kissed Piper and Jensen took her upstairs to lay her down for a nap. I took this time to head downstairs into the studio.
I'd been writing a little this weekend, in between Piper's naps but didn't come up with anything great. The evidence of this was all over the floor, scraped writings strewn about. I sighed, moving to pick them up and throw them all away.
"Working hard or hardly working?" Jensen asked, making me turn to her as she leaned against the doorframe, "Do we have another hit album in all those balled up papers?" I shook my head as she made her way over the piano bench. I sat beside her, pulling her into my side, "H?"
"Yeah?" She moved to look at me, grabbing my hands before speaking.
"I've been thinking and I know it's late but I'd really like us to write our own vows. I want to hear what's in your heart, not what someone wrote off the internet. We both write enough lyrics that I think we could do it." She watched my face, waiting for a reaction.
"I think that's a great idea, love. I have a lot about you I can write about. For example, you snore, definitely talk in your sleep, lose things like no one else, forget what you're doing every two seconds, way too stubborn for your own good-" She stopped me, hitting my arm lightly before kissing me.
"You better not say ANY of those things in your vows sir or I'll kick you out of your own wedding." She gave me a look, pointing her finger at me in all seriousness. I just laughed, kissing her nose.
"I cannot wait to marry you, J. You're the best thing to ever happen to me."
