Kai's POV:

I groaned and woke up again, no one is around but Kyungsoo. He stayed with me, waiting for me to wake up and sat up, "w-what happened?" I rubbed my head.

Kyungsoo looks down, "you fell unconscious after Baekhyun says the words that made you put your demon side down. I mean... I was thinking, he is right... he said you're a good guy.. even you have signed the contract with a demon with me and my point is ... you don't deserve to get hurt by that mystery boy, Kai."
I looked at him, I know he has a heart too, "not only me but you... why is so quiet in here?"

"They left, this school has locked down already. Let's go before polices find us here." He pulled me up after he stood up and picked up our school bags. I held his hand and we decided to leave as we saw polices checking each classroom to find any clues and I see the blood everywhere, I felt guilty and the hospital staff had my father on the bed; looks like he is dead. I stopped them, "what happened to my appa?" I tried to control my emotions.

"Ah, you're his son, I'm sorry for your loss. He has died from the shot, he had killed several students and staff here. Have a nice day and go home safe." He said and continued walking to the ambulance. I didn't move, my dad...? I thought he was a good guy. I flashed back from my memory that brings the sadness and guilt over me.

'"Baekkie Hyung! Appa is calling for dinner!"
"Coming..." a few years after he had stayed with us, his behavior had changed after he attended two schools plus he was in elementary school. Baekhyun walked out of his room and walked down with me to the dining room. The food was served, he was so quiet and the silence broke when my father speaks, "hey Baekhyun, how is your second school going?"

"Mmm, good, I learned a lot and I'm thinking right now."

"Ah, then what is it?" Mrs. Kim said. Baekhyun stabbed the chopsticks through the steak calmly at the same time his face showed how angry he is. I figured he was in a bad mood. "Who was the one that killed my parents? I am pretty sure when I grow up, I'll be a strong boy who seeks revenge to kill whosever forfeited my life." I shall fight until I satisfied my parents even they are dead. I'm sorry, this is yummy but I'm not hungry. Have a nice evening." He formally bowed and patted his napkin around his lips to chin to clean himself and puts the chopsticks back down on the table. He took the napkin with him.

"Appa, what does it mean?" I asked sadly. "Nothing son, finish your dinner." His eyes were emotionless; he went back to eat in silence. My eomma rubbed my father's back, "everything will be okay as long as we have spirits to protect us." She smiled softly.
'I knew that but why did Baekhyun act as he hates us when time passes? I care about my Hyung, I am quite afraid that I wouldn't be able to control myself and I'm afraid the contract might get us killed if we failed. What if we die, we will remain dead forever without coming back to life? What is he find out? I don't want to lose my friend.' I commented in my mind while respecting my parents.

Meanwhile, when we finished, I headed to see Baekhyun and opened the door quietly then closed, "Hyung... are you okay?"
Baekhyun stared at the book, he stopped scribble and didn't respond.

"Tell me, what is wrong with you? You can trust me." I told him with a soft tone.
He sighed heavily, "then sit on my bed and I shall look at you and tell you as I want you to tell me what the hell is going on." He said with an angry tone. I obeyed and sat on his bed, it made the noise so he heard it then looked at me.

"Kai... tell me, what is your family's plan?"

"What? I don't know what you're talking about."

"Then why do I keep having a nightmare?  Why do you and your family hide so many things from me without letting me know or see it? Back to nightmare part, It felt so real as I keep seeing it often, your family did something to kill my family. What is their plan?"
