"NO, NO, NO! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID THAT!" I hollered at Jason as I pulled his ponytail back."OUCH! Lay off, it's the truth! Roanoke is the best season of American Horror Story to date. I'm not arguing with you about that," Jason swatted my hand away.
"How dare you disrespect Coven like that you uncultured swine! You're not even a real fan if you think Roanoke was THEE best out of all of them! I'd give Murder House and Asylum tied for first before saying Roanoke!"
Matthew was laughing at our immature conversation as we started driving down the road to the resort. I honestly couldn't believe Jason watched AHS by how he looked. I could have seen him watch weird shows like Cops, Bar Rescue, or Storage Wars. We spent the rest of our time at the restaurant and it was already night fall. I wasn't planning on doing anything else tonight but got some shut eye before Mo' and Derrick arrived. They said they were going to catch a ride out here instead of disturbing the resort late in the night. I didn't mind that at all.
"Well it's your opinion, Stella, I don't care," Jason smiled my way and shrugged his shoulders. I wasn't pleased with his answer and pouted with my arms crossed. I was ready to debate him more on the subject until Matthew pumps the brakes hard. The sudden stop made me yank back under the force of my seat belt locking.
"Dear Heavens," Matthew whispered. I peeked my head over Jason's shoulder and saw what was wrong. I gasped a bit and unbuckled my seat belt to get a closer look. The bungalow was vandalized with black spray paint, eggs, and toilet paper. Writing was riddled all over the sides. Matthew's garden in the back was uprooted and the soil was completely dug up. In front of us was a blazing fire that swept towards the beachfront with the wind. It was incinerating the grass and burning the white sand to straight coal.
"Shit," Jason sneered and hopped out of the truck. He headed for the bungalow where the fire was gaining closer to.
"JASON! WAIT!" I screamed in fear. I almost fell out of the truck, as I climbed to the front of the passenger side and leaped out. Matthew was trying to catch me so that I wouldn't be in harm's way, but I was mostly worried about Jason hurting himself.
I saw Jason exit the bungalow with a fire extinguisher. He started bellowing the white foam at the flames that were close to consuming the bungalow. Then he made his way further on to the beach. I wanted to help, so I grabbed a stray bucket from the back of the truck and went to the beach front and started throwing water at any flame I could. My hair was a mess and my panty hoses were soaked.
Matthew had called the police before he came and helped with extinguishing the fire. Once we got it under control, we were able to sit back and reveal the message that was under the fire.
'FUCK U NIGGERSON'
My mouth was agape for a second. It made me look towards the bungalow to see what else they had written.
'STELLA THE MONKEY'
'NO ONE WANTS YOU HERE'
'DIE'
'FUCK YOU NIGGER'
'MONKEY LAWYER'
'BURN UR SHIT AGAIN'
'BACK DOWN'
LEAVE WHILE YOU STILL CAN BITCH'
"Oh no, no, no, no, no. Jason! Get her out of here! She shouldn't see this!" Matthew started panicking.
"WHAT THE LIVING FUCK," Jason bellowed and roared in rage. He started messing up the 'FUCK U NIGGERSON' signage on the ground in his fit of rage. I was just frozen in my spot. I couldn't move, I couldn't blink, I couldn't even think at the moment.
