To love hate ( Severus Snape and Morgana Pierce)

The feast

The astronomy tower was beautiful, simply amazing, it was quiet, calm ,peaceful ,private. All the things one could want. I watched the sun set , looking at the amazing pinks and oranges in the sky, it reminded me of an artist with a paint brush , streaking the paint on the blue canvas , changing the mood of the setting , meaning night is falling . The students will be arriving soon , meaning that we ,as in , all the staff had to be present for the feast. I made my way to the dungeons, eager to get the whole thing over. I was nervous , yes , not because of the fact that I was a new teacher and all eyes would be on me .. But the fact that I was new , an outcast to say .. I was petrified , but I guess I have to get used to showing my face around people, especially in classes , this change is for the good , I kept on reminding myself

As I enter my shared quarters , I stop , looking at the view infront of me , which is not to my liking. There I see , Severus , sitting on the couch with a book in hand , but not just any book - my book.

I never liked it when people took my possessions, borrowing them , lending them .. It made the hairs on my back stand up. Anger filled up inside of me , I balled my fists glaring daggers at the man , he sure knew how to make people hate him , because at the moment I was ready to hex him to oblivion. I was a compulsive organizer , definitely , but only when it came to my responsibilities only, I mean everything had to be right , in order , checked on the list and a million times after to be sure. So , when I see him , holding my book, one of which I've delicately put notes and scribbles in , if he's moved around things and if any extra papers I put into the book aren't there - I'll use the unforgivable on him .. Maybe that's a bit drastic but I'll definitely put the message across

"I see you've done your homework Miss Pierce " he said sarcastically , still looking at the book uninterested in me

I calmed myself "it is none of your business to read through my personal notes Mr Snape" I said harshly , referring to formal names to get my point across

"But it is Miss Pierce " he said looking at me " correct me if I'm wrong , but you will start teaching soon, as an inexperienced teacher you therefore need a game plan as to what you are going to teach the students. I am merely going through your sad excuse of notes , making sure you don't mess up this opportunity. It would be such a shame , you know, for you to lose your job over such a minor issue " he sighed over dramatically

I was shocked , he mad me so angry " you have no business in going through my work ! I'll have you know I am perfectly capable of teaching . What do you know anyway , you know nothing about literature, how dare you insult my teaching , why don't you go play with your potions set and go ruin other people's day , seeing as it makes you so happy "with that i stormed off into my room closing the door, almost slamming it

With a frustrated cry into the pillow, and a nice long shower , I felt calmer and ready to face whatever Severus had to say. I changed into a figure hugging white dress with long sleeves, making sure it covered my back .... It reached a good length above my knees , but formal nonetheless. I curled my hair , applied little makeup , put on my heels - I was totally ready to blow them out the water

I walked out of my room and into the kitchen , laying down my teachers cloak onto the table. Severus was fixing his tie in the mirror, he looked .. Decent to say the least. He looked at me through mirror , eyeing me out actually. Silence screamed between us , the only thing that could be heard was when my heels clapped on the floor. Eventually he said

"The first years are selected into their respective houses , Dumbledore says a beginning of the year speech , then the feast begins. Once finished, all students return to their common rooms whilst the head of the house says a few words to the students in the common room. You and I are on night patrol , much to my delight" I roled my eyes " you best be taking a coat , it gets cold in the hallways" , he opened the door for me , I gave him a fake smile "tonight is going to be so much fun " i thought sarcastically
