Alien: Human, you are supposed to be asleep. Why are you awake?
Human: Ugh, I can't get comfortable. My bed's way too hot, I'm all sweaty.
Alien: So then, why don't you just sleep on top of the blanket?
Human: Nah, I like the weight of it on me.
Alien: O....kay... Then why don't you just allow your arms and legs to poke out of the blanket? That would at least make your limbs cooler.
Human: Yeah... about that, some humans have this irrational fear that if they do that, they'll feel a hand come out from under their bed and grab them. I blame a childhood of being told monsters live under beds.
Alien: But that's just a story. There is literally zero chance of that happening, ever.
Human: Eeeeehhh...
Alien: *Frustrated sigh* Alright then, do you have any ideas of cooling yourself off?
Human: Oh right, I forgot. *Flips pillow* Much better.
Alien: ...That's it?
Human: *Already snoring*
Alien: *Whispering* What in the whole shit...?
