"so yeah, we're a couple now."
as soon as jeonghan had finished his sentence, chaos ensued. everyone was yelling, mingyu accidentally threw changkyuns coffee off the table onto soonyoungs lap, hansol was saying something in english, jihoon started fistbumping seungcheol five times in a row, grinning widely. 

wonwoo sighed tiredly, it wasnt that much of a surprise, was it? he had already noticed the small changes in the behaviour of the two boys one week ago - two days before soonhoon had announced their confession. it made the black-haired wonder if it would end with all of them being together with one another - seungkwan and hansol, soonyoung and jihoon, minghao and jun and now those two. the only ones still single were mingyu, chan, changkun and he himself at the moment.
>>maybe chan and changkyun will get together. that would be fun<<, he thought. and mingyu? well, hopefully wonwoo wouldnt have to witness his secret love getting together with someone. it would honestly break him.

"dude, im so happy for them!" mingyu turned up next to him, a paper towel in his hand which he threw at soonyoung, "they're really cute together! i wish i had someone like that!"

wonwoo just hummed what he hoped sounded like a 'yes' and mingyu was gone again, walking over to jeonghan and hugging him tightly. it made that familiar tingle of jealousy go off again in wonwoo's chest, but he never acted upon it. after all, mingyu would never love him.

"lets celebrate that!", changkyuns vocie easily cut through the chaos, silencing everyone. even though he was only two years older than most of them, they felt like he had become some kind of big brother to them and everyone respected his decisions and asked him for every permission they needed. 
"lets go to the amusement park!"

"YEEEES!!", chan immediately cheered and everyone else joined in, not noticing how silent one person was. wonwoo was watching everyone silently, looking calm on the outside but his insides were burning in pain.

he still remembered that one day he went to an event like this. with his parents. only to have a panic attack on the ferris wheel and get yelled at by his dad for the next two days without a break. it was only one of many occasions like this, but that day had left a deep scar in wonwoo's heart - he had only wanted to have fun for once.

"lets go after everyones finished eating!", changkyun suggested and suddenly wonwoo wasnt that hungry anymore. he put his half-finished plate away and went to his and mingyu's room without minding jeonghan's worried gaze.

"whats with wonwoo?", mingyu asked as soon as he noticed the empty chair at the end of the table, "is he angry?"

seungcheol shrugged, "i dont know, maybe someone should ask him....what if he doesnt want to come with us because of his issue with people?"

but mingyu shook his head, he knew wonwoo and that was definitely not it. "he would have said something if that was the case. besides, hes been working as a damn cashier since january, im pretty sure he has gotten used to crowds and speaking to people."

"then go talk to him, please."

mingyu nodded and left the dining room, walking upstairs to his and wonwoo's room. he didnt bother knocking, knowing the older would say no but still want him to come in - just not admit it. wonwoo's mind was one of a kind and mingyu was proud of himself for getting a hang of how it worked.

wonwoo was sitting on his bed, glasses on the floor and a book on his chest. he had his eyes fixated on the ceiling but looked up as soon as migyu came in. he immediately recognized the younger, even though he was only a coloured blop since he wasnt wearing glasses.

"mingyu."

"yes its me." mingyu sat down next to the older.

"why did you leave so suddenly? is something bothering you?"

"yes."

"tell me about it."

wonwoo sighed deeply, sitting up too. "its stupid, i dont even know why im getting so worked up over it."

"if its something thats bothering you, then it cant be stupid. please tell me."

"i went to an amusement park once in my whole life - with my family. i-i had a panic attack." wonwoo sighed again, "my parents were angry at me for ruining the fun. i dont-dont know why this one memory is alwas around but....but it was the worst one. i dont know why."

without uttering a single word, mingyu embraced the older in a warm hug, whispering sweet reassuring words into his ears.

it was the perfect opportunity and wonwoo's mind was still too dazed to stop himself from doing it.

he kissed mingyu, latching his chapped lips onto the soft ones of the younger.

and mingyu returned the kiss.

"i think i love you", wonwoo whispered.

"i think i love ou too", mingyu answered, "will you be my boyfriend?"

"yes."
