SONG: ADORE U BY SEVENTEEN
they had moved out - all of them had, in fact. seungkwan and hansol now lived in an apartment a few streets away and worked as a secretary and a waiter in jisoo's restaurant.
jisoo and seokmin had opened up the restaurant "20", which had rapidedly climbed up to become one of the most famous ones in seoul.
changkyun and chan stayed in their old apartment, both kinda lost contact with the others, but they still frequently visited each other.
mingyu and wonwoo moved to gwangju and were now having a good time there, wonwoo was still studying to become a lawyer while mingyu worked as a fitness coach in a local gym.
soonyoung and jihoon had started a bussiness and with jihoon being the CEO and soonyoung his secretary, they had quickly gained wealth and money in the industry.
and jeonghan and seungcheol had moved to daegu, where they opened up a coffee shop called "purple rose", which had gotten loads of good feedback since the opening.and junhui and minghao?
well, the two moved out too. they ended up in hongkong, back in their home country. it was beautiful to finally step foot on the land they were born in again.
and now minghao was working as a barista in a small cafe that was owned by one of junhui's old friends - there had been lots of happy tears when junhui had first visited his boyfriend at work and was faced with ten.
turns out, ten had moved away too, choosing to go to china and open the cafe. he was still single, but had met a 'hot guy he would definitely fuck'.it seemed like everything was going well, minghao thought while cleaning the last coffee mug and placing it back on the shelf. ten walked by, humming to himself and carrying a tablet with two coffees.
"hey hao, can you carry out these two? ive gotten a few more orders to do." he gave minghao the tablet and fleed into the back of the cafe, grinning to himself.
meanwhile, minghao decided to just do what he had been asked for, even though ten's behaviour felt really weird. but maybe it was something else, or he had just gotten a text from the 'hot guy' he was still after.
minghao had dyed his hair blonde the day they had arrived in china, which made him stand out in the crowd - many of the people visiting the cafe were broke college students who didnt give a flying fuck about their hair color, so most of them didnt dye it.
junhui was sitting at one of the tables by himself, nervously shaking his legs and playing with the small box in the pocket of his parka. as soon as he spotted minghao's blonde hair, he felt like he had sudddenly forgotten how to breath.
it was more of a teasing thing between the two, but junhui wasnt even really lying whenever he told his lover he thought the younger looked hot in his barista-outfit. damn, he did.
but the nervousness took over again as soon as minghao recognized him and smiled his bright smile, "hey junnie, i didnt think you would drop by. i thought youre still at work?"
"uh- actually... i actually took a day uh off."
"why?" mignhao's face switched to concern immediately and he put the coffee down. leaning over to lay a hand on junhui's back in a comforting way.
"no uh nothings uhm wrong just...." junhui took a shallow breath and stood up, getting down on one knee infront of minghao.
it took the blondhaired a momet to realize what was happening and he let out a small gasp.
junhui smiled nervously and took out the small wooden box, opening it to uncover the small silver ring in it. it was a simple ring made of silver, with "i love you" engraved in chinese on it. minghao didnt really like gold, and junhui knew that so he had gotten silver ones.
"minghao, will you uhm-" he cut himself off, getting red with embarassment. oh my god, this was nerve-wrecking help help help-
but minghao didnt need anything more.
with tears running down his cheeks, he nodded and softly stroked the ring with his finger. "this is so beautiful junnie-"
junhui smiled fondly at his now soon-to-be-husband and took the ring out, placing it on minghao's right ring finger. it fit perfectly and he got up on his feet again, only now noticing how everyone in the cafe was watching in awe - ten was standing behind the counter smiling like crazy and silently cheering for the two.
minghao opened his mouth to say something, tell junhui how he felt, but nothing came out and he gave up.
instead, he lunged forward and hugged the older so tightly, it felt like his bones would crack at any moment.
and then their lips met and they kissed like it was the first time all over again.

im really sorry for the long delay everyone!
im back with this.
oh and btw, they were all around 16-17 when the story started and seungcheol was going to turn 18 when the sequel started, so now everyone would be around 25/24, basically their real age. so minghao and junhui marrying is okay, they're both 24, thats a cool age to be married lmao.
thx
