Secrets revealed

Third p.o.v
Blood is smeared across the walls as he nears his destination. Almost...He is there almost. He opens the door of a dark room and stumbles inside. Before him is a dress lined up. He focuses on a white rose darkened with blood.
"This is it. I just need this!" With a tad of desperation he stretches his arm out, ready to touch the rose.
"Wow...So this is where you've been hide her dress." He stops dead in his tracks. Who found him...? "I had no idea whatsoever." The voice continues and he turns slightly to look at him. "Laito...." The boy gives him a small smirk.

Somewhere else

"What are you doing here." They stare at the timid girl, and also checking on the one that is getting whiter and whiter every second that passes.
"I-I heard a lot of commotion, so I came to check it out." She wrings with her hands and whispers, "Is she okay?" Just as she asks a groan emits from the white haired girl. Black veins are slowly coming from her hands, seeping towards her eyes.
"That looks really painful." Comments Kanato, staring her down with an unknown emotion in his eyes. "Hey, wake up." She falls quiet again, her body relaxing. The black veins says something otherwise.
"What's going with her?"
"The awakening has probably started." Answers Shu, eyeing the black veins suspiciously.
"There is no precedent an ordinary mortal woman to awaken with the power of a vampire, right?" Asks Kanato, clutching his teddy bear closer.
"Right, because no vessel has endured the process." Shu adds, still looking bored at this whole ordeal. "But she is a demon...how is that going to work out?" Pancake interrupts again, but this time saying something incredibly new towards them.What is she talking about?
They snap their head towards the other girl again, except for Shu, who still again looks mostly bored about this, the only that changed is the glance in his eyes.
"Can you run that again?" Says Ayato.
"Wait you didn't know?" She asks surprised, opening her mouth and closes it again, looking like a fish. A corner of her mouth lifts up and she arrogantly starts explaining. "My father told me when he found her on the streets that she wanted to attack him. With that." With a disgusted look she nods towards the black veins that are wriggling around, a bit of hatred laces through her voice.
"He read about their kind and decided that she would be useful for into the future...So he proposed something." She pauses, looking smug that she sort of has them wrapped around her finger. "What?" Snaps Ayato, feeling irritated that this low human makes him dare to wait. She dares to give him an irritated huff, but continues nonetheless.
"He proposed that he would save her, feed her and heal her, in return that she would make...." She pauses dramatically again. "...A pact with him." A pact?
"Oi, Pancake what do you mean with that?" She crosses her arms, giving the a smile that speaks volumes. Done with her shit Ayato grabs the hem of her blouse and pulls her closer to him. "You are going to explain right before I decide I will kill ya." He threatens, his eyes flashing dangerously.
A hand grasps his shoulder.
"Calm down Ayato." It's Subaru. With a snarl he takes a step back and drops her, she coughs.
"A pact...is a bond where you're able to command demons to do as you say, no matter what it is...they have to accomplish." She finishes slowly after she's done with coughing, finally looking scared.

"This explains why you keep showing up at our house. This dress is a very dangerous object, you know." He has a calm and relaxed tone as he speaks further.
"Uncle, you must have been pleased with yourself to use her for your own means so successfully. Were you planning to revolt against Karl Heinz once you had your hands on the power of the sacrificial bride? A sacrificial bride that is stronger than you thought? What did you hope to achieve as the new head of the family?" The green haired man finally decides to speak up.
"Do you seriously believe that I will give up the truth to a dreg like you? Laito the truth is not as simple as you think it is." The said boy smiles knowingly.

"So let me get this straight. She is a demon and she made a pact with your father? Am I saying it right?" Asks Ayato ridiculous, with an are-you-serious? face.
"I think we've more important things to do." Says Shu with his eyes closed, and slumped on the seat.
"Yeah, Ayato. We don't know if she's going to die or not." Adds Kanato, gazing down at the girl laying on the couch.
"All right. Isn't there any way?" He asks, shooting the other girl that is still on the ground a glare, and she shrinks away from him.
"There is, but it is incomplete." Another voice joins in. They turn their heads slightly to look at the man who said it.
"Reiji, what do you have?"
"This remedy will kill the woman for once and for all." He explains curtly, holding a bottle with pink liquid.
"It's unusual for you to come forward with an unfinished product. What would make it complete?" Asks Ayato, urging him to continue. For the first time he doesn't berate him and just goes on what he read in the book.
"I believe I need a piece of that woman."
"There's nothing left of her to use." Says Subaru, looking like he wants continue as Kanato cuts in. "Actually, I have something."
He pulls the head of his teddy bear easily off it's body, and grasps something out of it. "I don't need it anymore." With an emotionless expression he walks to Reiji. "Is this that woman's...." Ayato trails off, eyes fixated on the bottle as Kanato gives it to Reiji.
A moment later it looks like Reiji is finished and the liquid sloshes in the bottle.
"Did it do the trick?" Ayato grins hopefully.

"I will let you in on one obvious truth. Never again will we let you or that woman, run our lives again. We have an inescapable destiny. If you didn't know that...I pity you." He smiles. "I guess this is it, dear Uncle." With the smiles still evident on his face he pulls a lantern from behind his back, the flames are green.
He throws it before the man's feet, the sound of glass breaking is loudly echoing in the room. They stare at each for what seems like an eternity, as the green haired man all of the sudden smirks at him, blood still dripping down the corner of him mouth. He smiles back, turning his back to him and walks away.
"Goodbye. I hope you have a nice time in Hell."

He kisses her lips, the liquid in his mouth as he slowly seeps it into her slightly parted lips. Please survive. The next thing that happens he is thrown of the couch. He looks up in surprise. The black veins that are wriggling around her eyes slowly goes down, towards the wound where she stabbed herself.
"What is happening?" He hears someone ask behind him, but it is like he's hearing through a fog. It emits a soft light as it sews the wound shut, disappearing then into her skin, leaving clean skin behind.
"What the hell." A second later her eyes flutter, opening slowly. Relieved, he let's escape his breath that he didn't even he was holding.
She opens her eyes wholly, the only difference is that there are small black spots in her eyes, showing that she changed a bit.
"Hey." She groans and holds her head. "This headache is killing me. What the hell happened?"
"You don't need to know that." She searches his face for a minute, but it seems like she didn't find anything she was looking for and instead turns to the rest.
"Hey...Guess I have to stay here longer." The reactions differs between each of them.
Shadow jumps into my lap, purring.
Kanato smiles, this time not as creepily.
Reiji looks down at her like she did something wrong.
Laito smiles, albeit a bit perverted.
Shu just glances at her from the corner of his eye.
Subaru also just gazes down at her.
Pancake gives her a stink eye, probably wanting her dead.
And Ayato...Grins.
"I have to say..." She starts, getting a questioned look from Ayato. "I'm really fucking thirsty." A few chuckle at her nice worded sentence.

Nozomi p.o.v
I'm alive...I'm...still alive....I gaze
"There you are." I turn around at Ayato's voice, holding Shadow closely to my chest. With a slightly confused face he stops before me. He probably is wondering with I'm doing outside. I sigh turning away from him again.
"I never knew I would say these words, especially to you, but..." I hold in a snicker at his offended and continue. "...Thanks." I give him a small smile of gratitude. The only thing I still have to learn to live with is my eyes. They changed, slightly, but still.
"Why didn't you tell us you were a demon."
"I'm just partly demon, but...Would you trust some shitty strangers who are sucking your blood and chasing after you because you have a special heart?"
He stays quiet before answering. "Touché."
"But...I think something changed inside of me. Because...I don't feel that shitty man anymore." He silently urges me on, a question on his lips.
"I hope Pancake explained what I am and what I can do? Although I don't like her spreading my secrets around like it's nothing but a pest, it saves me a lot of trouble explaining it." He nods, giving me an indication to continue.
"When I made a pact with him...You can say it is some sort of bond. I can feel that he's connected to me and he feels that I'm connected to him. That doesn't mean he can freely my emotions or read my thoughts. But...since I sort of...died...I don't feel him anymore." That is one of the longest explanations I've ever done. "So I guess you can say that death can break pacts." I shrug, not feeling in the slightest bothered by it. I just hope the next days, weeks, months and years will be quietly. But I think I'm getting my hopes to much up for that, because...I live with fucking vampires and they're never quiet or calm.

This is one of my longest chapters....*sweat drops.* I don't know if I'm gonna immediately after this continue with season two, but I will promise you that I'll continue! Also!
