Nozomi p.o.v
"I want fucking answers of why I'm seeing that fucking woman all the time." I grind through my teeth. But first I need to find one of- The soft melody of a piano fills the air, cutting of my train of thoughts. That can be one of them, but I mustn't forget one thing...I don't want to reveal to much of my powers.Of course it must be Player. Why not? My mood turns sour. Fuck you, too. I roll my eyes and walk further inside.
"Why, hello, Doll-chan. I'm thrilled that we ran into each other." He smirks, probably still think about yesterday. I feel a vein popping up.
"We didn't run into each other, I wanted to talk to you." I snort back. Something you aren't going to like.
"Hmm? Sounds serious, Doll-chan." He doesn't sound serious at all. I sigh. It's now or never.
"Since the first time I came here I've seen a woman. Kanato resembles her the most. And I want to know who she is." This must be the first time I used his real name. Woah, there must be something seriously wrong with me. He stops with playing, his whole face is devoid of any emotion. It almost scares me, almost.
"Why do you want to know?" His voice is for the first time cold. He turned a 180 degrees with personality.
"What are you doing in here?" Another voice joins the conversation. I look away from Laito right in Ayato's eyes. Next to him is Kanato watching my moves carefully. The whole group of triplets are gathered together. Yippie.
"Because I'm done with constantly seeing her. So tell me if I'm correct." I take a deep breathe and pause for a moment. "Is her name Cordelia?" Their reactions are all different but at the same time the same. Kanato hugs his teddy bear a little tighter, Laito holds the tip of his hat like he's trying to pull it down, a dark shadow is clouding his eyes. And Ayato. He stares at me with unknown emotion.
I almost want to say something again, when he speaks before me.
"Yes, her name is Cordelia."A woman with purple hair, barely, is standing looking at someone else with a expression full of anger and just a little bit of confusing.
"Ayato..." She growls softly, pressing her hand against her stomach, where her dress is drenched with blood. The spot is slowly growing, causing to drip some of it on the floor. She runs upstairs, trying to get away from Ayato.
"What a shame, it's ruined now. And I really liked this shirt too." One corner of his mouth is lifted up in a small smirk.
"It's soaked in your blood, mom." He holds up both of his arms and brings one closer to his mouth. "Your blood tastes so sweet. It's so delicious." With a look of victory he looks at his 'mom'.
"I want more." A bit of her blood drips down from the corner of his mouth. She turns around and runs into the hallway, her figure disappearing quickly.Blood sloshes down on the floor, slipping through her fingers. She presses a bit harder, leaning against the wall to support her weight. She leaves a stripe of blood behind on the wall, apparently trying to find someone. Focused on a melody she opens the door and stumbles inside.
"Ahh!" And immediately looks up, seeing a well-known person playing piano. Laito. "Laito..." She whispers, coming closer.
"Oh, no. What's the matter?" He asks, a mysterious smile playing on his lips.
"It's Ayato. He's torturing me!"
"Wow, really? Well, I knew this would happen sooner or later." He continues with playing the piano.
"Laito, I command you help me!" He knew that would happen, and he still didn't like it. He still didn't like when his mother was gone when he wasn't needed, but immediately ran back to him when there was trouble. His mouth is a thin stripe, and he look up, to her, to the woman he despised and at the same time loved. A loud sound startles her and her eyes widen.
"Ayato has come for me. He has come to kill me!" He stands up, a bit tired about all this. "That isn't Ayato. That's just the wind. Relax. I'll keep you safe." He gives her a small smile."Have you driven Ayato away for me?" The woman asks, a seductive smile on her face. "Yup, he's gone." She leans against the wall, relieved, as a small sigh of air blows her hair. She's currently standing on the balcony.
"I knew I could depend on you, Laito." That's because he'll always be her plan B. He knows the answer on his question but he'll ask nonetheless.
"Do you love me more than anyone else?"
"Yes." She comes closer. He smiles and shakes his head. She'll...never ever chance. "You never chance, do you?" His question has an underlying meaning. She just smiles, a seductive one, and holds her hand out to him. He almost wants to take it. The blood in the corner of her mouth has dried up. He notices, a bit bitter about it.
"Laito, I love you. I mean that." Not a second later the air shifts. His eyes narrow and with the hand he wanted to grab hers, he pushes her over the edge.
"Now you are mine, for eternity." His face is serious as he turns around and walks away."Mother, what's wrong?" A boy with similar hair bends over to look at her.
"There's a hole in your chest, mother. Wake up, mother." He gives her curious eyes, as if she's just an object he's observing.
"I wonder where your heart went? Help me look for it. C'mon." He lays his hand on her forehead and smiles. "Are you dead, mother? You're so cold...And so wet. Mother you must be freezing." He comes to a conclusion and all of the sudden stands up again. "Hold on, I'll warm you up." In his left hand is his teddy bear and candle holder. With a crazy grin he grasps the candle holder from his left hand and slowly brings it over to the rose bush.
"Now, doesn't that feel warm, mother? C'mon, tell me you're getting warmer." A crazy look appears in his eyes as he watches the bush go up in flames."Okay...well, at least we have something in common now." I walk to the door with a face devoid of any emotion. Yes...that's true. My own mother called me a monster not knowing she made me that way. That's why...A sudden smirk stretches my lips. I killed her with my own hands.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Ayato sounds a bit confused. I glance at him and open the door. Just as I'm about to close the door I say it softly. They can fucking hear me, because they're bloodsuckers.
"I killed my mother too." With a thud the door closes.
