Chapter 3 - Unexpected but Memorable

The sky was getting darker, and the cold wind blowing through the snow was like a winning razor.

Aditya hung from the edge of the cliff ... He also had slipped when he tried to prevent Kyra from falling.

He had grabbed the edge of the cliff with one hand and With his other hand, he had held Kyra's hand firmly who was suspended between ground and sky.

Aditya was doing his best to lift Kyra up, but it was hard because Because he had to keep his balance too.

Kyra was holding Aditya's hand with her both hands and shouting in a frightened voice" Adi ...I'm falling, please don't let this happen, pull me up ... please Don't let fall!!"

Aditya thought to himself  "I can't hold myself and Kyra like this for a long time, My hands are weakening"

"Kyra Calm down, try not to struggle and don't move too much, You should try to help me, I can't lift you up alone!" Aditya said while he looked at her worriedly.

That area was not a dangerous place for mountaineering, But the foothills had a steep slope where they was hanging It was also slippery everywhere due to snowfall.

There was a narrow, sunken path on the edge of the cliffs That seemed to be the crossing point of the seasonal river through the mountains And it went a long way down.

With a worried and frightened face, Kyra grabbed Aditya's hand and looked down in horror every once in a while.

Every time she looked down, it seemed deeper And she started shaking and screaming:"Adi...Adi... Don't let go of my hand, don't let me die...please!"

Each time she struggled, it became harder for Aditya to hold her and keep his balance as well.

Aditya looked at her with a reassuring face and a calm and steddy voice:"i will never leave your hand at any cost"

At that moment, Kyra stopped Struggling when she heard this sentence, She looked up as her tears was flowing.

"Try to keep calm, I know it's hard work, but you can... Don't look down, just look at me" Aditya said with a kind smile and kyra nodded in agreement just like she was hypnotized by him.

"Lean your feet on the boulders and I will help you to lift yourself up " Aditya said.

Kyra looked at Aditya innocently and said :"Adi ... I can not"

"Yes you can ... You are a capable girl, I am sure you will succeed" Aditya said with an encouraging tone ... "now come on, let's do it"

Kyra swallowed and focused trying to find a place to put her feet on the rocks.

When she rested her foot on a rock, it suddenly slipped which caused her lost the balance and hung up again.

"I can't ... I told you I can't" she said, screaming and crying.

With her slipping, her weight doubled for Aditya ... For a moment he felt his Fingers strap of his hands while they were breaking and detaching.

He gritted his teeth and, with his eyes closed tight, tried not to let go of Kyra's hand with all his might.

"calm down ... calm down ... You should not be disappointed ... try again" Aditya said in a tired voice.

"If I fall, I will cause you fall too" Kyra said as she was crying.

"nothing happens ... we don't fall" Aditya said with a serious face, then he paused as he was staring at Kyra and continued:"I won't let you fall ... EVER"
