Chapter 14

Lisa POV

I rub my eyes and slowly sat up on the bed.i glance to my side but jennie wasn't beside me.i lazily stretch my arm and get inside the bathroom to do my morning routine.after washed my face and brush my teeth , i went downstairs.but as soon as i enter the kitchen , i saw jennie who was struggling to reach a jar at the top of the shelf by using her short legs and hands.i giggles instantly,i walk to her and take the jar for her making she startled

"Next time don't put this thing in a high place if you know that you're a shorty" i said teasingly and put the jar on the kitchen counter.she turn around and we both flinch when our nose almost touch with each other.i pull my head away a little but my arms are still resting at the kitchen counter trapping jennie in between my arms.she seem flustered as she have no way out to go so she averted her gaze from me.i grin looking at her flushed face

"Y-yah go away" she said while lightly push my shoulder.i smile widely and take a step closer to her that i can feel her breath on my skin

"Good morning" i said while giggling.she's a really goddess , seeing her face this close just make my heart racing.

"M..morning.." she said with a small voice while blushing.i let out a laugh and take a step back

"What's our breakfast today?" I ask while stepping to the side letting jennie to walk to the sink.after she wash her hands , she turn around facing me and give me a proud smile while pointing to the table

"Pancake" she said smiling.i don't even notice that the pancake was on the table before

"It looks delicious!can we eat now?"

Jennie chuckle while taking off her apron and hang it on the wall.she nod and grab my hand while walking to the chair making me blush slightly at the sudden contact

"Why you woke up so early ?" I asked while cutting the pancake before i shove it into my mouth

"My mom called me this morning , that's why i woke up early" she munch her food causing her cheeks to become puffy

"Really?is she fine there?i miss her" i said pouting

"I miss mom too..they'll come back in 1 more week"

I nod but suddenly , i just remembered that i need to go back live in my place when jennie's parents are here.just by thinking of it are enough to make my heart ache

"Nini" i call her and she responded with a hum

"After our deals ended , would you still remember about me?" I ask making jennie to stop from eating.

"What make you think that i will forget about you?"

I shrug my shoulder "well i don't know , maybe after i done doing my job , your parents probably would hate me..because you know..i'll be considered as a bad person in your parent's eyes for playing with your feelings , and maybe they won't even let me to meet you again after that" i said smiling sadly

i can't blame jennie , i'm the one who agreed to do this.i'm not planning to be too attached or close with jennie's parents at first , because i know if i do , i'll get hurt at the end.but i can't help it , mrs kim and mr kim treat me really well , they treat me like their own daughter and care for me like how much they care for jennie

But not only that , i've also made something that could hurt me really bad at the end

Because I've fell in love with jennie

I know it's not supposed to happen , because she ever told me before that she doesn't believe in love.but i can't do anything...i already fall for her
