Chapter 13 - Gramps' plan

Her lips were so soft and seemed to fit mine perfectly like they were made for me. "Well isn't that cute" Zan said as he appears from the shadows. We broke the kiss and then I whipped around, glaring at him while keeping Lucy behind me. "You two caused me and client a lot of trouble" he said, "your welcome" I replied with a proud smile and Lucy quietly giggled. "It's not a compliment!" Zan shouted. He looked really stressed.

I kept a knowing smile on my face. "Wait a minute, why are you smiling like that?" he asked suspiciously. Right on time, an explosion happened on the other side of the mansion. "What the?" Zan exclaimed and ran out of the room to go see what was happening. "What's happening?" Lucy asked as we heard lots of explosions happening all over the mansion. "It's Fairy Tail" I said and her eyes widened.

"How did they find us?" she asked. "It was Gramps' plan. Mira and Lisanna transformed into mice and followed me at a distance before I was captured. The plan was to let me get captured so they could show us where their guild is" I explained. "Ok so what the next step of the plan?" she asked. I thought about it, "I forgot" I replied and she rolled her eyes. "The next part of the plan was for us to find where you two were captured" an annoying male voice said. "Gray! Erza!" Lucy cried happily and ran to the cell doors.

Gray crouched down and flicked her forehead. "Ow! What was that for?!" Lucy shouted while holding her forehead. "That's for running off on your own. Have you and Dragon Breath made up yet?" he asked. "What did you call me Frostbite?!" I shouted and then Erza broke the lock on the cell door which made it swing open. "We don't have time. Lets go" she said and put Lucy on her shoulder. Gray and I looked at each other with glare, knowing I would have to ride on his shoulder. "You guys coming or do you want to wait for Zan to come back?" Lucy asked as her and Erza stood at the door. Gray groaned and put his hand in front of me. "Get on" he said without looking me in the eye. With no other choice, I climbed up his hand and arm until I stood on his shoulder. I wish Happy was here.

We ran out of the cell room and through the hallways until we reached the main hall, where some of our strongest guildmates were fighting against the dark wizards. Mira was fighting against Winter and Autumn. Wendy, Happy and Carla were fighting Spring. Gajeel and Levy were fighting Summer. Lastly, Laxus was fighting the guild master which was Zan. I noticed dark purple lightning sparking around Zan as yellow lightning sparked around Laxus. 'He must be a lightning elemental wizard' I thought.

"The nekos have escaped!" a dark wizard said before a few of them charged at us. There seems to be no end to them and they don't stay down. "We need Levy or Freed to take off the collars" Erza said as she fought five dark wizards at once. "Levy!" Lucy called out and Levy quickly looked over at us. She asked Gajeel if he would be alright without her and when he replied yes, she ran over to us while fighting off a few dark wizards on the way. "What do you need?" she asked as she joined our group and help fight some of the dark wizards.

"We need you to help us take our collars off. It has some rune magic on it that stops our transformation and magic" Lucy explained. "Ok" Levy replied as she grabbed me and Lucy and put us both on the floor with her. Gray and Erza made a protective circle around us as they fought off the dark wizards. Levy looked closely at Lucy's collar and got a light pen out of her pocket to rewrite the enchantment.

About five minutes later, the runes disappeared and the collar fell off Lucy's neck with a click. Lucy felt her neck before transforming into her normal form. "Thanks Levy" she said happily and then got her keys back from Erza before joining the fight with Taurus. "Hurry up Levy, I want to join the fight!" I urgently said. "Ok, ok, hold your horses" she replied as she started rewriting the runes on my collar.

In three minutes, the runes on my collar disappeared and then it fell off. I immediately transformed into my normal form and punched my right hand into my left palm while lighting them aflame. "Time to have some fun" I smirked and then ran into the fight between guilds.
