I woke up the next day to the sound of my phone ringing loudly. I read the caller ID and noticed that it was my older brother, Ondreaz. "Good morning Dre," I said in a raspy morning voice. "Oh! Did I wake you up? I'm sorry little bro." I smiled slightly at how much he really cared for me and then said in a more cheerful tone, "No, it's okay. I needed to wake up anyways. So, what did you need?" I heard him laugh from the other end of the line and then he said, "Oh yeah! You'll never believe it! I was able to get you into coming to my dance class with me. It's a few stages higher than your old class but I think you can handle it. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, so, you in?" I stayed silent for a few moments. No way is this real. I must be dreaming because this is my literal dream. I felt my eyes well up with tears of happiness. Finally, after all the hard work, Ondreaz was able to make my and his dream become a reality.
"Um Tony? You there bud?" I was snapped out of my thoughts and said shakily, "Y-Yeah. I'm in for sure." It was almost like I could hear the smile forming on his face. "That's great bro! I'll stop by your place later today so we can finalize the paperwork and I really miss my baby brother." I chuckled at his remarks and then said, "Yeah, later on is fine. I'm free all day so let me know what time you want to come and I'll send you the address." He told me soon afterwards, "Cool, I'll be around today at five. Send me the address." "Okay, I'll send it now. Bye bro." "Bye Tony, love you."
I told him 'I love you' back and hung up. Then, I practically leaped out of bed from excitement. I started celebrating around my apartment with a little happy dance. I was just overall so happy that my dream of being a dancer could finally come true. Screw football, I mean, yeah, I'll still play this season but it won't be my number one priority.
"Well you sure are happy this Wednesday morning."
It felt like I had almost jumped out of my own skin from how startled I got from the sudden voice. I turned around at the speed of light to see who had said that but all I was met with the same piercing red eyes of an overly-amused looking Tayler who was staring at me with an interested twinkle in his eyes. "I did it." Was all I said to him in a soft voice, "What did you do?" He asked me curiously. I smiled big before saying happily, "My brother got me accepted into his dance club. I'm going to get to fulfill my dreams." He raised an eyebrow at me before saying, "So, the tough quarterback of his school wants to be and dancer in the future, when he clearly has the skills to go pro in football."
My smile dropped. He was right. I'm so stupid. Why should someone like me ever pursue dance as a passion. "I-I I'm sorry. I'll go call Dre now a-a-and tell him not to come." He quickly softened his gaze at me and spoke quickly, "Hey! No! I was just joking Tony. It's not a stupid idea, I'm sure your an amazing dancer!" I smiled brightly before hesitating, my smile faltering for a brief moment, "Um, are you sure it's not a stupid idea?" He smiled softly at me before pulling me into a tight hug, "I know it's not a stupid idea. Plus, it's your passion, so what I want doesn't matter." I smiled once more and then came up with an idea.
"Hey Tayler, do you think that you could watch one of my dances I was working on? I haven't had the courage to dance in ages." He smiled softly at me and nodded before grabbing my hand and leading me into the living room. He let go of my hand and moved his way over to the table that was placed neatly in front of the couch in the room. He moved it so that it was far out of the way and then Said, "here you go Tony, your very own temporary studio." I smiled at him for being so nice to me and then I quickly ran into my room.
I dug through the bag that I had resting on the floor of my closet. Inside it were all of the things I needed for dance. I grabbed the wireless speaker out of the bag before I got up and ran back into the living room to find Tayler sitting there patiently while waiting for me. I set the speaker down on the table off to the side before hooking it up to my phone. I picked out a song and then started my performance.

By the end of the song I finished almost perfectly and I basically died from how much I had just done on the spot. I looked up at Tayler to see if he approved and if he thought it was any good. I saw him staring at me with a huge grin on his face and I could've sworn I saw his cheeks tinted a shade of light red, but there's no way he would be blushing. Right?
