§·Your POV·§
I opened the doors of the kitchen only to see something… mortifying…
I saw a male with dirty blond hair and turquoise eyes. He was dressed in a standard chef's outfit, which included a long white apron. I could guess that he was the phantomhive chef. He had a flamethrower in his hands and was roasting beef with it, or more like burning it.
“Oh my gosh!!! What are you trying to cook?!?! Fire?!” I yelled at him and then he looked over to me and turned off the flamethrower.
“Well I thought it would be quicker to use the flamethrower! And who are you?” He said, and looked at me cautiously.
“My name is (Y/N), I’m the new guard at this manor.” I said as I sighed.
“Oh, I’m Bard the chef at this manor, at your service.” He said with a slight bow and we both laughed.
“You kinda look like (Y/N) (L/N) to be honest.” He said rubbing the back of his neck and tilting his head at me a bit.
“Uhhh.. Maybe that’s because I am her…” I said looking him in the eye.
Wait no way! You're kidding right? Why would you be here if you are her?” He said looking at me shocked.
As soon as he finished saying that sebastian busted open through the door and took his flamethrower.
“Bard! How many times must I tell you, A flamethrower doesn’t belong in the kitchen?!” He said, raising his voice at him.
“Sorry Sebastian! I guess I forgot! Hehe...” Bard said rubbing the back of his neck again looking a bit nervous.
“Just go help Finnian with the garden while me and (Y/N) prepare dinner!” Sebastian said while pointing to the door.
“But-” Bard protesed.
“Now!” Sebastian said with a glare and then Bard walked out the kitchen to the garden.
I chuckled a bit then, looked over to Sebastian who was already starting to prepare dinner.
“Is he always like this?” I said with a questioning look on my face.
He took a long deep sigh before answering my question.
“Sadly, yes. Even after countless times of me telling him a flamethrower isn’t for cooking!” He said while cutting the meat.
I chuckled and he looked over at me confused.
“Oh you should wash your hands and put an apron on since you’re helping me.” He said pointing to the aprons.
“Funny. I don’t remember volunteering to help with the cooking.” I said with a small laugh.
“Well since you're here, you might as well make yourself useful. Now please go start the stove, and boil some water.” He said with a serious look on his face.
He was joking right? I’m mean, I can’t even cook! What if I burn the place down? The most I can cook is a sandwich! And you don’t even cook anything for that. I sighed and went to the sink to wash my hands, put on an apporn, then got some water to boil like he said.
“Do you need me to go anything else?” I asked looking at him now cutting carrots.
“No, I’m afraid you might burn the place down.” He laughed.
“Wha- No I won’t!!!” I yelled at him a bit mad.
He laughed again, and looked at me with his charming eyes. It felt like time just stopped between us and we lost in each other's eyes. Of course he was the one to ruin our moment by telling me I should start the tea, before it gets too late. But still this moment we shared was amazing.

I walked around the manor, looking out for anyone that could be trying, to break in, or to possible harm the Earl. Suddenly I felt a paper airplane hit my head from the back. I quickly turned around to see who was there. I picked up the paper airplane to see it was a letter.
“Who’s there?!? You better come out, Right now!” I shouted, but I heard nothing still. Not even a cricket.
“Is there something wrong, (Y/N)?” I heard a smooth voice say, I turned around and I took a swing at the person behind me, only you see it was sebastian.
He grabbed my wrist, before I was able to hit him, then he pulled me close to him. His hand around my waist, and one holding my wrist.
“I’m glad to see you’re on full alert, while protecting the manor~” He whispered in my ear with a smirk on his face.
“O-of course, I’m m-mean... I don't want to get hurt myself! If I were to get hurt, How can I be able to protect the Earl?” I said blushing a bit trying not to stutter, but I clearly failed at that though.
“Very true…~ Anyway… What’s this in your hand?” He said as he took the letter from my hand, let go of my body and started to read the letter silently to himself.

When it looked like he had finished reading it, he looked up at me with a serious expression in his eyes.
“Where did you find this…?” He asked.
“Uhh.. I was on patrol, and something hit my head.. It was that letter..” I said to him.
He nodded.
“ I will take over patrol duties for the night, and you can go guard the Earl’s room.” He said to be with a stren sounding voice.
“Thanks, but I think I’m f-” He cut off my sentence with a kiss on my lips.
I kissed him back of course, then he backed away..
“I- I’m sorry about that.. Just go guard the Earl’s room.” He said firmly.
“Fine.” I said and then went into the manor to protect the Young Earl.
