Elliza
(3rd Person)
~•~Elliza Arowen made her way through the quiet streets, the full moon casting shadows on the already darkened paths.
Most the Kingdom slumbered, as labourers rested their weary bones and aching muscles.
Most, but not all.
For it was light that streamed from the castle, fire light stemming from magic as not to burn out.
The Fae where quite adept at their parlor tricks.
Elliza did not mind however as it would make this more enjoyable.
She continued to walk, ravens flying above head as she did.
She took in the number of guards loitering about. Not many to be seen so close to the Black Alley district. Not many could stand the smell of blood, sweat and other bodily fluids that polluted the air around the district.
She however had spent far too many days in these paths to really bring herself to care.
Prowling through the night it took her a while to reach the palace. Having kept her movements deliberately slow as not to attract unwanted eyes to her.
Elliza looked upon the moon that had not yet reached the point she needed it too.
She scaled the castle walls, an easy feet for her. And she crouched low.
She had planned this, using information she had bartered for and information she had herself gathered.
The timing would have to be precise.
She jumped over the wall, landing skilfully on the mossy ground. And began running.
She headed west, to where she knew the ball room to be, weary of guards she clung to the shadows her all black attire deceiving all who would look.
Elliza reached the west wing of the tower high castle, light streaming into the sky from the glass sky light that adorned the ball room.
The glass itself was weak, with only magic to keep it intact. While magic was a strong force within this world, a certain type of vea ore metal that had been outlawed many kings ago, could cut, break or shield against many types of magic.
It was a hard metal to come by due to the ban the kingdom had on it, however when you are a thief there was very little you could not get your hand around.
And it was that very vea ore metal that had made up the soles of her feat and the blades at her sides.
Once more Elliza took to climbing, an easy feet as the castle was made of uneven stone.
Up and up she went, passing the window she wishes to fall through until she had reached a certain height.
She would be high enough for the pressure to break through the glass. She moved her legs to sit near her hands, so she was in a crouching pose before she used her feat to push back against the wall.
Propelling herself backward with a grace she would have admire had it been another time.
She flipped in mid air as her boots made contact with the magic glass, shattering it too pieces as she fell through.
And as she had planned she landed near the throne, guards rushing toward the king, however she was quick.
Like a snake she launched herself forward wrapping her arms around Crown Prince Adriel Thorne, blade already drawn and held to his throat.
For all nobility to see.
They would not have seen Eliza's wicked grin through the mask covering half her face, it was only her white hair that was visible.
Screaming erupted around the room as many braced for more intruders however none came.
"Who are you?" The Prince's voice boomed through the room.
And Elliza leaned her masked face closer to the mans ear and whispered "I'm the Queen of thieves"
She heard the call of a Raven and knew it was time, ripping the crown from atop his head Elliza pushed the Crown Prince forward into the hands of the guards and ran.
Twirling once she scattered witch bombs around the floor as smoke erupted.
She was swift moving around the crowd, stealing jewels from around noble woman's necks as she headed for the door.
And Elliza's laugh echoed over the sounds of confusion. She burst through the doors.
She pulled out a set of needles hurling them at the approaching guards, grabbing their hands and using them as a shield against the others, as she ran past.
Aiming for the window down the hall. None would have ever guessed she would be throwing herself out of it. Shattering more of the castle class before falling into the moonlight night.
The sound of the castle bell rang out, as Elliza escapes into the garden.
The sound of midnight.
No whisps in sight, the guards were changing shifts on the east end of the castle near the castle gates.
Which made it a rather peaceful escape
Elliza scaled the castle wall once more before jumping over to the other side, and then she blended in with the night.
Leaving behind a castle, whose king was beside himself with rage.
And a bastard Prince who now thought he had use of a thief who could steal the crown with such ease.
