Five days had past, Brann's wounds had healed so Elliza had sent the twins away, to gather information. She did not want them near for what would happen next.

So when news reached her that the witch whose name she now knew to be Arie was spotted entering the back alleys, she was glad she had.

Elliza had to give credit to the witch, as she had been smarter than the last time for she had abandoned the cloak and now wore clothes much more suited to the back alleys fashion.

However it was a futile attempt as the residents of the paths were not fooled.

They had seen Arie's face, had marked it. Made sure if they ever saw it on the paths again they would inform Elliza.

For Elliza was on a witch hunt.

While it would have been far more enjoyable to actually hunt, Elliza had had instead committed herself to waiting it out, she would let the witch come to her and then rip her heart out for the blood she had spilled.

For the twins.

So Elliza waited, within the confines of her office, boots resting on her desk. Listening. Waiting.

She had enough time to play.

And play she would as on the second day of waiting, she heard the flower shop doors bang open.

Her smile had been nothing short of sinister as she readied the witches Vea Ore dagger, the same dagger that had hurt her Brann.

She would spill some witch blood on the floors.

The witches foot steps could be heard as she ran her way through the hall knocking down doors, getting closer and closer.

Elliza stood slowly, and swaggered toward the door and she timed it perfectly when she sprinted forward.

The door swinging open.

The witch only had enough time to turn her body away as Elliza flew forward dagger grazing the tip of the witches nose.

However Elliza wasn't done as she ducked twirling as she went down, her left foot extending out to swipe the witches feet from beneath her.

Arie jumped high to avoid being tripped but hadn't expected Elliza to use her already crouching position to push herself up blade aimed at the witches heart.

The witch brought her hand down pushing the blade lower as it sunk into her ribs.

Elliza loved the hiss of pain that escaped the witches lips, although she was dissatisfied with the fact she had missed.

She had been aiming for the woman's heart.

The witch grabbed hold of Eliza's right hand using her left hand, her right hand bringing a vea ore dagger down into Elliza's hand.

Elliza didn't scream even as pain rippled through her right arm.

Instead Elliza used her left hand to punch Arie in the face, the witches hand loosened from around Elliza's wrist and the blade she still held down in Elliza arm, thus allowing Elliza to jump back.

Elliza pulled the dagger out of her arm, and smirked.

She then ran forward, palming needles into her right hand, her injured arm throbbing with a pain she ignored.

Elliza hurled the needles toward the witch who dodged them with ease, however Elliza didn't mind as she kept throwing needle's toward the black haired woman.

Running further forward until she was a few steps away Elliza attacked, the witch quick to dodge the blow however Elliza had expected the maneuver, twirling past Arie, Elliza grabbed tje womans arm pulling it behind Arie as her dagger went to the witches throat.

"Give me one" Elliza begun "give me one good reason why I shouldn't slit your throat and watch you bleed on my floors" Elliza's voice was menacing. Both womans hearts beat wildly in their chest, breaths coming in uneven pants as adrenaline rushed through their veins.

Arie had to admit for a human the White haired woman was strong. She could understand why none had wanted to rat her out, less they have their blood spilled by the woman.

"I was told to give you something" Arie grunted, this was the second time in the span of a week she was handed her ass. Arie was less than pleased with the situation she now found herself in.

"Oh? Was it Terrwyn or was it Adriel who sent you?" Elliza asked lazily a grin on her face as the woman stood stark still.

"So it was!" Elliza smirked "considering I pissed Adriel off it must be Terrwyn" When Arie only grunted Elliza knew her words to be true.

"You know" Elliza drawled her grin growing wild "I asked for a good reason for me not to slit your throat I don't think you've given me one yet"

Arie's eyes widened, she would have laughed if the dagger at her throat hadn't dug deeper into her skin.

Arie didn't know what she had done to piss off the thief but she knew her next words would determine if she lived long enough to ask.

"I have information" Arie answered. In a world were power rules over the weak she was not above selling information on the prince in exchange for her life.

"A fair exchange I suppose" Elliza responded with no amount of enthusiasm "Yet One I don't care for"

Arie was growing desperate as the dagger continued to cut into her throat. Blood oozing down her throat.

"What do you want? You want something from me or you would have slit my throat by now" Arie demanded.

Elliza sighed at how boring the woman was, "I wish to meet the Matriarch of the Merda Coven"

Arie's eyes widened "why?" She asked suspiciously, however Elliza only dug the dagger deeper into the woman's throat.

"Alright, I will introduce you to my Matriarch"

Elliza grinned "good, now go" she pushed the witch away from her having already stolen the letter from where the witch had kept it on her. "I'll call for you when it is time for you to pay your Dept"

Arie Sage quickly left, not wanting to know how the woman would call upon her when the time was right, No she was only desperate to escape the wicked woman.

Elliza watched the retreating figure, disappointed at how weak the woman had been however she supposed Arie Sage's targets were never as skilled in combat as she and the twins had been.

Elliza was now alone in the office, her blood dripping upon the floor, as her gaze fell upon the letter that she had discarded on her desk before her eyes  travelled up into the afternoon sky.

Her next move in this game would have to be considered carefully.

However she would have to plan it after the twins return. As she would no longer hide such plans from the two Ravens.
