Elliza Arowen had been seated at her desk, a thief on her throne.

Oryn and Brann sat in front of her, their legs spread open as their arms dangled off the edge of the armrest.

They both had felt pens dipped in ink jars in front of them. She knew she would receive backlash for her decision.

She was prepared for it.

Elliza Pulled out the invitation, under the ever watchful eyes of the twins, she then placed it on the desk for their eyes to fall upon and narrow.

"An Invitation sent by Terrwyn Thrones" she answered their silent question.

Their narrowed eyes travelled to meet hers, where they held her stare.

"He wishes to use me in his bid for the throne I suspect" Elliza informed them. Their growls echoing through out the room as their eyes fell upon Elliza's left arm.

It was not the injured arm their gazes lingered on, rather the material that rested around her hand.

A mark so vile, she had carved it from her skin.

She cared little for it these days, as it had lost its importance to her. No, what she cared for had long since changed and it was why she would go to that meeting.

She told them as much through their snarling. Brann had been the first to question her. Scribbling on the scrap paper that was left for him to use.

The paper had read : You have a plan?

Elliza Arowen, queen of thieves did not hide the wicked gleam in her eyes or the cunning smile that adorned her face as she said "We stole the crown, all that is left is to steal the throne"

She had expected nothing less when the two fiends in front of her had grinned in amusement.

"I need you to do something for me" she told the two who nodded in confirmation. They would do anything she asked of them.

"I want you to deliver some letters, to Guilde and Arin" she told the two, digging in the desk draws for the letters she had written up earlier.

Oryn scrawled on his page we are not to go with you when you meet with the prince?

Elliza shook her head "no" when they wrote why she answered "we need to lay the ground work for our plan before the meeting, and then we will wait and observe before planning our next steps carefully and accordingly"

It was a game they were playing at. And in this sort of game Elliza knew how important knowing who the players were would be.

The fun would begin after that.

Oryn once again began writing, we are to join you after we return? He asked.

Elliza shook her head once more "after you have sent those letters I need you to look into something for me" her voice was gentle, perhaps a voice she only used when she was in the presence of Brann and Oryn.

They looked toward her inquisitively however EllIza only smiled, she would inform them later.

Elliza stood from her chair, gaze looking out upon the busy paths, where a slave wagon now made its way past. Screams of despair and anguish ringing through the air.

Elliza turned her back to it all as she smiled fondly at the Raven Twins.

The only ones who ever mattered.

"I will not be able to see you off tonight, I will be going on the hunt this evening" Elliza informed Oryn and Brann.

She did not elaborate. For this part of her plan would be for only her to know.

This was by far the most crucial part of her plan, for it was treachery that surrounded her.

Her eyes closed.

Her and the twins living in a little cottage in the country side fluttered to her mind.

What she wanted. Was not the same as others.

She knew it well.

Eliza ran under the cover of night, the moon no longer full and vibrant. A satchel swung over her shoulder.

She ran with a skill, that had been trained into her over years. Dodging shrubs and branches as she passed an array of trees.

She was no longer in the kingdom walls, but still within the country borders as she ran through the woods gifted by Chai, Goddess of the land.

She would have to go deep within the dangerous woods of she wished to find the man who she had known for years.

She had known the man perhaps longer than any other.

A man who knew only brutality, he was vengeful in his wrath. However a good man despite the blood that splattered his hands.

He was honest, deceitfully so. He helped many.

He was also utterly human.

Elliza stopped at a cliff, and with no hesitation she turned her back to the cliff and fell into the darkened trench below.

Only to land into a net of woven lynx thread. Perhaps the strongest thread on the Back Alley markets.

The net itself had been dyed black with leaves covering the top.

Any who looked from above would be deceived to believe it was an alley of trees, however EllIza new different.

She climbed her way to the cliff edge where she walked a path into the darkness below the net.

Where a rebel army had made its camp.

For Deverych Borin was the leader of the biggest human rebellion in Seaha. And Elliza's only friend.

Men and woman alike surrounded her, swords drawn as a big burly man held his sword to my throat.

"What a warm welcome Deaval, I'm absolutely honoured you perceive me as such a threat" Elliza drawled.

The man did not lower his weapon even as recognition flared in his eyes.

Elliza smiled, feral and brutal "You'll do well to remember who I am" she spoke drawing her dagger, the dagger grazing against metal as she pushed his sword away.

Taken by surprise Deaval could do nothing as Elliza closed the space between them, dagger at his throat.

The man breathed heavy, no doubt angered, much to Elliza's amusement.

"Did you visit..." A loud Barry one voice called out from behind the group or warriors "...only to terrorize my warriors"

Elliza's smile turned to one of joy as she spoke "How rude, you have yet to greet me Deverych and yet you accuse me or tyranny"

Deverych smile was wide as he approached Elliza. Elliza removed the blade from Deaval's throat, the blade leaving a slight cut on his throat as she withdrew her dagger.

The older man braced her, as Deaval scowled.

"It is good to see you, friend" Deverych spoke.

"It is indeed good too see you alive and well" Elliza replied returning the hug for only a moment before drawing back.

"I wish to discuss much with you" Elliza told the man.
